Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Autoctono. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Autoctono~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:Fluorochomasia.pdf
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Fluorochomasia.pdf. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 01:45, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
The article Fluorochromasia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While this is almost certainly a valid scientific topic, the condition of this article illustrates an article that needs to be blown up and started over.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:54, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
Saving
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
I was writing a new article in Wizard and lost everything. How can I save my writings?
- My personal recommendation: Add "importScript('User:Gryllida/js/addInstantSaveToCodeEditor.js');" to meta:Special:MyPage/global.js. Then your edit box will have 'Instant Save' button which saves your content immediately and allows you to continue editing it. This is ok if the content is not in the main namespace; saving incomplete work in main namespace may result in its quick removal (depending on how incomplete it is).
- Another option is to write the article in a word processor program which auto-saves the content to a file on your personal computer. Once you have finished, copy it to Wikipedia. Gryllida (talk) 01:45, 27 July 2018 (UTC)

Boris Rotman moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Boris Rotman, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Nomination of Fluorochromasia for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Fluorochromasia is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fluorochromasia until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. power~enwiki (π, ν) 01:44, 10 August 2018 (UTC)

Please help me with the need for verification. What document do I need to submit?
Autoctono~enwiki 00:01, 21 October 2018 (UTC) Autoctono~enwiki 00:01, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
- Usually, when Wikipedians talk about verification, they are referring to the need to supply a reliable source for a fact stated in an article. Secondary sources are preferred. There is no document to submit, you simply have to prepare a citation to the source that can be included in the article. You seem to be too experienced for me to suggest referencing for beginners, but that is not a bad place to start. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 01:35, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
- Further conversation about the Boris Rotman article, specifically, should occur at Talk:Boris Rotman. I've started a section there about the problems with missing citations. Has anyone asked if you had a connection with Rotman? — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:50, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

The file File:Schematic view of fluorochromasia molecular mechanism.pdf has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Orphaned file that is redundant to File:Schematic diagram of fluorochromasia molecular mechanism.pdf, which is superior because it shows the entire title, while part of the title of this one is cut off.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
