- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Adding material not supported by sources
[edit]Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. The source you added does not support the text you added in the article. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:08, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- I apologise for the inconvenience but it was a textual glitch, I had attached citations of National Institute of Biomedical Genomics and Genome India Project. Because of browser issues or something the citations didn't get included along with the text converting into gibberish. Austin-Crix (talk) 13:11, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- Your citations do not support the text you added. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:14, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- I have mentioned the page numbers accurately. Austin-Crix (talk) 13:28, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- Update: Yes a wrong link was pasted for the source, I have corrected it please check the updated one now. Thanks for pointing it out

Attempting to remove well-sourced material
[edit]Please don't both making any more reports to WP:EFFP. You're tripping the filter because you are attempting to remove well-sourced material. You're free to make an edit request on the article's talk page if you think something should be reworded. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:08, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- If you are willing to talk here then I will obviously not make reports.
- If nobody is up for discussing and resolving anything in the Talk page then what is the use of it? If the claims are right then please provide authentic and academic sources instead of newspaper articles like The Indian Express. The vague claims cannot support the content of the page. It's not a well sourced material, double check. Austin-Crix (talk) 16:13, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- There is a consensus that The Indian Express meets "reliable sources" criteria. There's nothing further to discuss on that topic. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:15, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- Check the "Paid reporting in Indian news organizations" section on the page and understand the tone of the article. Sure it can be used to assess current state affairs but not on academic matters. Austin-Crix (talk) 16:19, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- There's nothing to suggest that's a paid article, and it's perfectly reasonable to support the text it's associated with regarding Kudmi protests. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:29, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- Create a Protest & Ongoing Demands section for that instead of including it in Religion category.
- By religion Kudmis are Hindus. Austin-Crix (talk) 16:42, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

Final warning for attempting to remove "tribal" from Kudmi Mahato
[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:24, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- alright i give up. Austin-Crix (talk) 13:41, 14 July 2024 (UTC)

. Making this edit after claiming that "you give up" shows that you are not "giving up." OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:52, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- Mr. Jamie, I specified about “giving up trying to correct the word "tribal" to "peasant/agricultural" community” as it caused me 95% of my total problems in filter blocks and such. I am not going to even try to correct it anymore and that's why i said about "giving up".
- I never stated that I am giving up on making any edits in other pages in Wikipedia. All my edits have been in good faith, I even tried to participate in a consensus but nobody cares to talk. Please also check that whatever correction I make anywhere, i provide citations with it and I do not "vandalize" them for no reason.
- Please recheck the Damodar Sekhar and Kashipur edit you're talking about and see how the specific "Kudmi Mahato" has been deleted and changed to "Rajput" dynasty (while using my same citations about bengali Kudmis [irony]) by unknown IP addresses and edit warriors.
- The only thing I did after saying "I give up" is to revert these edits back to original.
- It's alright though I feel like it's not worth it anymore and that's why I did not feel like participating in editing in Wikipedia since so long. Please unblock me from making edits just in case I feel like correcting any different stuff in future. I apologise and promise not to repeat anything may be disruptive and unnecessary.
- I hope you realised my perspective, Thank you. Austin-Crix (talk) 06:11, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- Given that you've done nothing here but waste our time, I am not interested in unblocking you at this time. OhNoitsJamie Talk 12:22, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- Can I please get unblocked now, I admit my mistakes and have learnt my lesson. Austin-Crix (talk) 05:48, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
