RE: Why was I deleted?

Hi. The Steven Pederson article was deleted via the proposed deletion process in which an editor, namely User:Resurr Section felt that the article did not meet Wikipedia's inclusion guidelines. The reason that the user left was:

"A search for references has failed to find significant coverage in reliable sources in order to comply with notability requirements. This has included web searches for news coverage, books, and journals, which can be seen from the following links:
Steven Pederson – news, books, scholar
Consequently, this article is about a subject that appears to lack sufficient notability."

The article can be restored upon request, in accordance with the proposed deletion policy however if it is not brought up to Wikipedia's inclusion guidelines, it may be deleted again. Hope this helps. - Rjd0060 (talk) 22:58, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
