License tagging for Image:Lclancer.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Lclancer.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Emu

Hi! Good job on the emu article; well done.
A few comments:

"the red led"? - Maybe "the red lead"?
"(the Kerosene probably also had a bitter taste)" - Mmmm. Amusing, but hardly encyclopaedic ...
"where Hannan's Lager and Kalgoorlie Stout still held there own" - their own
"a drink for woman and young men" - women
"suggesting his choice of brew indicated some question about his sexuality." - perhaps "indicated something questionable about"?
"The beer originated from the Stanley Brewery which was James Stokes, a 27 year old settler from Bristol in England, second Perth brewery (the Stanley Brewery)." - Was it Perth's second brewery, or Stokes' second brewery? And why was it called "the Stanley Brewery"?

It states that the Emu Brewery was the first commercial brewery in WA.

It also says: "The first brewery was built by J Stokes in 1837 (only eight years after the founding of the WA colony). The site has been used continuously for brewing since that time. In 1887 the brewery was taken over by the Stanley Brewery Company Ltd and in 1908 the name was changed to the Emu Co-operative Brewery, then to the Emu Brewery Ltd."

These statements conflict a little with your statements.

They may be wrong; do you have any supporting evidence for your statements?

Hi Thanks for tidying up for me.

Red lead wasn't one of my contributions. Draft is meant to be like beer that comes from the keg - less preservatives they would have you believe but really just a slightly different tasting lager. The Albion and Stanley Brewery were built adjacent to each other on the same site at Spring Street 9named after the spring that supplied teh required water for both brewery's. Yes Skol is the same stuff; Skol International beer was brewed by the Swan brewery before it started making the similarly bottled Special Bond. I understand I am also a FCPA and the Treasurer of the Fishers with Disabilities Association Inc. so BAS returns and similar ATO/tax driven matters have also been occupying my time too. It's been probably 15 years or more since I tried an Emu bitter - I'm a Rogers Beer man now. I can't even recall how I ended up on the Emu Bitter page but the lack of an explanation for calling it the much more recent name of "Kennie" and the absence of the names it was called when I first started drinking it in the late 1960's got me started.

1) http://www.fisherswithdisabilities.org.au/index.php - Very interesting! (You learn something new every day!)

2) Never seen, or even heard of, Rogers. However, being a frequent contibutor to the wealth of the Cooper's family via their Pale Ale, you'll not be surprised to learn that I'm also rather fond of http://www.littlecreatures.com.au/paleale/ which, unfortunately, is rather expensive here.

3) "I can't even recall how I ended up on the Emu Bitter page" - Lol!! For that matter, neither can I! (It probably had some obscure six-degrees-of-freedom thing from Lion Nathan trying to take over Coopers ... )

4) Your "exposure" to Emu sounds very similar to my own history with Southwark, also a very bitter-tasing beer (which was my father's staple diet). However, I'm not aware of anyone ever equating Southwark with ANY form of distilate, much less kerosene ... Personally, I'm a "Coopers" man, though after living in The Hague for 5 years, my favourite beer is Grolsch. Somewhat strangely, I can buy Grolsch more cheaply here in Adelaide than I can buy Little Creatures.

I also like Little Creatures Pale Ale and Adelaide. I took the family to Adelaide for our last holidays; I go there a lot for work and I knew they would enjoy it; friendly people like West Australians and lots of nice restaurants.

Fellow is just and old CPA (i.e to become a FCPA you just have to be an experienced accountant and CPA member for a long time). Often referred to by other CPA's as an "old fellow". I actually I work as a fisheries manager rather than an accountant these days; got there by also being an economist and its more interesting than adding up numbers.
