Redirects
[edit]Hi! I saw you created Japanese citizenship with only a link to Japanese nationality law. I turned it in to a redirect using #REDIRECT [[Japanese nationality law]]. You can read more about redirects here. If you had other intentions for the article, feel free to undo my edit ;) Thanks, THEN WHO WAS PHONE? (talk) 05:45, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. I am still a noob learning. I think I intended it be a redirect. AuricBlofeld (talk) 05:48, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
{{help|I have reccently edited a page about a youtube celebrity and have left some notes in my edit summary as to where my refs are, could someone help me by properlly attaching the refs and changes I made. I am not really good with tagging.}}
- Hello Mr Blofeld, and welcome. My name is Roux.. Roux Roux. Er, anyway. Adding citations is really easy. The place where you want to start looking is here, which will tell you everything you could ever want to know about adding citations. If you're using websites as your citations, the reflinks tool will help you a lot. You can also click on your preferences, click 'gadgets', and enable 'RefTools' to help you add references quickly and painlessly. Hope that helps. //roux 07:40, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
How to deal with weasel words
[edit]Hello Mr. Blofeld. I noticed that you used the strikethrough code to highlight a statement on the CFAY page which you believed were weasel words. When you find weasel words on a page, feel free to simply delete them. While the statement on the CFAY page doesn't exactly fall into the category of weasel words, it was certainly POV, and can probably be deleted. Worldruler20 (talk) 08:37, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Amuse inc, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. §FreeRangeFrog 05:02, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- Regarding the message you left on my talk page, there's really nothing to improve, sorry. Under the Wikipedia guidelines for notability of corporations, the material you added to the article simply cannot be considered for inclusion. If you can establish that your company is notable for reasons other than simply existing and providing some service, then please do so. Otherwise it will probably be deleted. §FreeRangeFrog 05:13, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hi again! I looked at the references you posted on the talk page and I believe you have enough to establish notability and avoid deletion of the article. Keep in mind that some of those links are duplicated. For example, the Taipei Times one is identical to the one in USATODAY. But they should be enough. I will remove the deletion tag and place a few others that tell people the article is in development. All you have to do is actually expand the content. Please use this as a starting point for formatting, structure, etc. Cheers! §FreeRangeFrog 05:56, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Magibon. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Magibon (4th nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
