what do mean by web content? whyt does myspace and youtube deserve a description but we dont?

I refer you to the guideline and policy pages I asked you to read earlier; WP:Notability, WP:COI. Marasmusine (talk) 14:32, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:SPAM. It is entirely inappropriate to try to advertise on Wikipedia. We are an encyclopedia, not your webhost. —BradV 14:33, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i am not advertising - we already have over a million members and a marketing budget - i just want a accurate article about us started on wikipedia. we have been around for over 2 years now. if i started with the youtube/myspace format similar to whats on those pages would that be better?

All of our material comes from third-party, reliable sources. If you can get an article in a magazine or newspaper, I'm sure someone will write an article on AudioTube here. Writing it yourself is bad form. See conflict of interest. —BradV 14:43, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

so none of these count?

and a great one here http://view.vcab.com/showvcab.aspx?vcabid=lgWymibQchmtm

?

You may have a case here, but you have to be very careful to follow the guidelines at WP:COI and WP:SPAM. I would suggest creating an article in userspace, e.g. User:Audioman7/AudioTube. Once you feel it meets the guidelines let me know and we'll get it moved to mainspace. —BradV 14:57, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

great thanks, like i said we arent spammers just want to be listed in the worlds greatest encyclopeida... once the article is up in userspace i follow up with you.

Please also check out the notability requirements at WP:WEB. —BradV 15:05, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BradV, i did this and posted on your page here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Bradv let me know what we need to do next!

thanks!

hi didnt get a reply in over a week so i tried to post it myself - please let me know if i need to make any changes or edits....

Your article

[edit]

Nice work so far. I did a little more cleanup for formatting. The problem is it is still an obvious attempt at advertising, and sections of it still fail neutral point of view and verifiability. There is a lot information there that is not included in your sources, and all of that needs to be removed or sourced. It also needs more sources - press releases aren't really considered reliable sources. Anyway, you can move it to mainspace anytime, just so long as you keep working on it. Thanks. Speedy deletion of Audiotube

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Audiotube requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 10:16, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As reviewing administrator, I think the article shows possible notability, so I did not delete it. It still needs work to decrease the promotional tone,. Some of this can be done by using the most condensed language possible, any by cutting out material that simply says how good the [X]] service is, & it would help to remove some adjectives. The best advice for these articles is in our Business FAQ. I'd advise you to do this very quickly, before it gets nominated for regular deletion.DGG (talk) 14:32, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Audiotube has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable organisation. Fails WP:ORG. No substantial coverage in reliable sources. Advertising page.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
