Notability of Ghulam Mohiuddin Thathaal
[edit]A tag has been placed on Ghulam Mohiuddin Thathaal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:46, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Adil Thathaal.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Adil Thathaal.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 23:25, 17 January 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 23:25, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

Stop adding names for which no article exists. If they are notable you need to write their article first. Failure to do so constitutes a violation of the Reliable sources policy. 98.248.41.72 (talk) 19:16, 22 January 2010 (UTC) I have added so many references regarding Adil Thathaal and Deepika thathaal but admin deleted that prominent people from the list this is not fair, no body on this planet except thathaals use the word Thathaal with his or her name and some times they use Choudhry or Chaudhry in last of name in starting of name. please dont annoy thathaals and Jogibaba wants to delete this page from wikipedia so block this kind of users on this page, he is mother sucker and even do not know about his real father name, the name mentioned on his birth certificate have no proof, kindly ask from his mother.

Thathaal
[edit]Hi Atwozee, I saw you have added " deepika Thathaal and her brother in the list of "Prominent Thathaals". I have deleted those because according to their father, he is Thothal and not Thathaal and not jatt but Rajput, moreover they are Half durrani and half thothal Rajput. One thing you mentioned that adil was born in pakistan was not right either, he was born in norway. I got these information from his father because i have to meet him to give me a phot of adil for upload in wikipedia.
I would like to invite you to the "discussion" area of the article rather than adding people while the authenticity of the article is questionable. I beleive wikipedia is a knowledge we have to transfer to the coming generations, it shouldn't be used to glorify some individual or group of individuals. I hope you would like to contribute in the discussion to bring the truth forward. RegardsJogibaba (talk) 19:22, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
Hello Atwozee, I have undone your reversion to the article in question. It is clear that the article's factual accuracy is disputed, so please discuss the changes on the article's discussion page instead of reverting. Also, all contentious information about living people, such as belonging to a certain group needs to be sourced, per our biographies of living persons policy. Further edit warring may lead to your editing privileges being revoked. Thanks, decltype

[edit]Hi. I'm afraid the Sheraz Uppal article you wrote contained copyright infringement (now removed) of [1], since the text is too closely paraphrased. While facts are not copyrightable, creative elements of presentation - including both structure and language - are. For an example of close paraphrasing, consider the following:
His father was a pilot in Pakistan Army and who was very disciplined and a man of principles. When Shiraz was 16, he decided to go into the army only because his father forbade him from singing covers in a band called “wet metal” and getting paid Rs. 800 for every gig.

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
