[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Melanin theory are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Please don't use talk pages in this way, they are for specific discussions aimed at improving the article, not a general discussion of the article's subject. Thanks. concerning talk page usage
[edit]Hi Aton, talk pages are really intended to be used for communication, not for aggregation of materials. If you need to make a collection of notes inside Wikipedia, the best way is to create a subpage of your user page -- you can do this by adding a Wikilink such as [[User:Aton Crow/Notes]], and then clicking on it to create the page. Also let me mention, in case it isn't clear, that anything in your user space should be used for the purpose of constructing something intended for the main article space -- you shouldn't put things in your user space that are intended as long-lasting articles.
