Norse Dwarves v. Dwarf - I think the biggest reasons to keep this article broken out are 1/ It is large enough now to survive as a seperate entry, and can easily grow; 2/ Norse Dwarves are creatures of religious and quasi-historical importance, in contrast to the majority of entries in the Dwarf article. Language creation

[edit]

Labas! I am creating a constructed language called Ríþenskus. It involves Lithuanian, Icelandic, and minor others. And I was wondering if you could team up with me to create the Lithuanian part. I'm trying to get a native of each language involved in this project.Icelandic Hurricane 21:08, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Naming fix in rankings

[edit]

Thanks for the heads up. I fixed the language db, and future pages will not have this error. Alfio 22:20, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reply about blocking

[edit]

Hello, thanks for your message about User:87.74.5.175. I'm sorry I haven't been around much to take action on your message. It looks like the user stopped being disruptive (at least for now). It has been a couple of weeks since they last edited. If they go back to their old tricks, please let me know, or look for an administrator who is on-line over at WP:ANI or another such page.

Happy editing! Johntex\talk 16:41, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. --Pontiakas 13:36, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me, why are you asking for User:87.74.5.175 to be blocked now? From what I have seen of his edits of late he has not done any vandalism... Tabercil 23:37, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Look in my user page history there is vandalism by this ip. --Pontiakas 12:53, 12 August 2007 (UTC) From my user page history: [1] and [2]. --Pontiakas 12:55, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is the same user who vandalized from diferent ip's put the same stupid pictures (look other vandlisms in history) so it was done not twise. But if you are willing to keep like this user in en Wikipedia :) ..., maybe you just want some more anarchy, I dunno. In lithuanian Wikipedia this user was blocked dozen times, for his religious fanatism and hatred to other users. --Pontiakas 19:12, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cultural attacks

[edit]

Sadly this is not an isolated case. Similar provocations are made all across English Wikipedia. Yet just now there was an attempt to introduce double naming. I am sure that this particular edit was made with a god faith, but renaming Lithuanian towns and persons got a mass scale. And this is due to one simple reason - lack of Lithuania related editors here in EN wiki. Personalty I also suspended my major contributions on EN wiki, due to continues harassing and provocations.
