Note

Just thought I'd leave you a note, I'm not too sure, but I have an inkling that our old friend BIGCANDICEFAN is back under the name WWE addict. I'm keeping watch on the contributions for anything vandalous, but I thought I'd let the admin who banned BIGCANDICEFAN know too. Cheers! Tyler Warren 10:05, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Well, no argumentative attitude at talk pages, accompanied by extremely poor spelling yet. I'll keep an eye out though, thanks.--Atlan (talk) 10:53, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

WP:James Bond

I am not sure what you mean by reverting a user.

PS, Can you reply on my talk page. Thanks. SpecialWindler talk (currently offline) 00:47, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
But whats a sock puppet, (can you please reply on my page again) Thanks. SpecialWindler talk (currently offline) 09:25, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

AVGN and beer choice

Ooops, sorry I'll edit out my comments from the archived page and paste it here:

As you say, that he has switched or exchanged one brand of beer for another due to Spider-Man's complaints can be considered canon in the realm of AVGN, because there was an episode that showed that. While I cannot dictate what beer he may drink in the future, in the canon of AVGN, he met Spider-Man who chastised him about Rolling Rock and introduced him to Yeungling. I think it particularly makes a good edit to the listing because him drinking Rolling Rock previously was actually a major character aspect of him in the show, and the switch to another brand of beer is a fairly big deal, in the realm of a web show that has a beer-swilling nerd swearing about old video games. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.52.234.11 (talk) 16:52, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

That's entirely OR, so it would not make a good edit at all.--Atlan (talk) 20:56, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Maybe I don't understand the concept of "original research", but how is an episode that shows the beer change a theory? It is a published fact by the aired episode, is it not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.52.234.11 (talk) 19:41, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

It is never explicitly stated that that was the reason he changed his brand of beer. It's just an assumption on your part.--Atlan (talk) 11:13, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

The alias section of the Dragon Ball arcticles shows all the names they use in any variation. That's how it's always been. Some articles don't have it anymore, and some of them renamed it Alternate Names. An example of this is how on Vegeta's article, it has his Malaysian name as Beta and how Goku's article use to have his Harmony Gold dub name as Zero. It's always been like that, so Piccolo's Spinish dub name is indeed notable, dispite your disapproval. And as for your spelling of the Makankosappo, you did indeed spell it wrong. I merely corrected. --Ryu-chan (Talk | Contributions) 15:10, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Not fair use?

I have reverted edits you have made to Bulma. The Picture belongs in the article because it portrays the character in Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3. Could you explain why you deleted the image? DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 22:13, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

It isn't a picture of Videl with Blue hair, it is a model of Bulma, with Videl's moveset. It is legitimate because it is in the game and not fan made. I have read the article on fair use images many times before and I asure you that I am aware of this policey. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 22:22, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
I have moved the image of Piccolo Daimao to his section in the list of supernatural beings in Dragon Ball. I am glad we could sort this out before it turned into an edit war. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 22:29, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Gurumayi

Thanks for reverting to my pic of Gurumayi. It looked liked we were going to have a revert war over it. That other pic was disgusting.

Thanks

...for cleaning up the mess I made on AN/I. In my defense, it was probably a combination of lack of sleep, poor wifi connection, an edit conflict, and improper use of cut-and-paste keys. I should have checked after saving the page. Take care. Wikidemo 01:11, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Yeah no problem. It could've happened to anyone.--Atlan (talk) 11:26, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Fedor

I have submitted a request for editor comments on the issue of the Fedor redirect. Please feel free to assist in reaching a consensus on this issue. Thank you. Tuckdogg 21:35, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Regarding a revert

Hi Atlan,

I'm contacting you regarding this revert. The reason I added that section (and while you were reverting, I was adding another concerning the short bit of controversy) is to answer to that speculation, with a statement coming from Capcom regarding it. I think an answer to that specualtion is better to lay it to rest then to keep it open.

cheers JackSparrow Ninja 13:27, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Sourced speculation is still speculation. The only parts you added that were not speculation, is the fact that Capcom doesn't yet want to reveal the game's setting, and the fact that the enemies shown in the trailer are black. That information can be added without creating a new section for it.--Atlan (talk) 13:54, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

I saw that you have been reverting edits by this anonymous user, stating that it is a block-evading IP. What evidence is there for this assertion? I am not defending him, or claiming that you are wrong, but there are no comments on the talk page, and no indication that a checkuser has been done, or any evidence presented anywhere of this being a sockpuppet of a banned user. I think such information, if it exists, should be posted in a public place for others to see. Thanks. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 03:32, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

It is not a matter of not taking your word for it. If I took a tone in my previous message, I apologize. It was late, and I was a little grumpy. You seem to know what you are talking about, and I certainly do not take issue with your reverts. His edits were certainly POV. Thanks for your message. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 16:03, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Why do you prefer to retain red links?

Why? It is a fact that I have cleared hundreds of red links, as you can easily verify if you wish. Please explain why wikipedia was better when they were still in place. LukeHoC (talk) 17:49, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

For the most part, these red links are only on your user page and nowhere else on Wikipedia, making their creation rather fruitless. Please keep the discussion at ANI though, which I will continue to monitor.--Atlan (talk) 17:56, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
