This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Gufw (software), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://gufw.tuxfamily.org. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. The article Gufw (software) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 17:44, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NawlinWiki's message for deleting a page is based on a template available for administrators. It sometimes does not fit the exact description of the article but the intent of the deletion is clear. The administrator determined that the article is not notable, as per our notability standards. If you think he/she was wrong in this determination, it's best if you leave a message at the administrator's talk page, not mine, Seicer's or Coren's. Administrators are advised to answer any and all questions regarding their actions, including deletions. Just ask NawlinWiki directly. If that doesn't work, you may try Wikipedia:Deletion review, where the community looks at the deletion and determine if it was merited or whether it should be undeleted. Hope it helps, - Mtmelendez (Talk) 13:55, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gufw is an easy to use firewall, powered by ufw. ufw is stands for Uncomplicated FireWall. It was developed by Marcos A. Costales.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
