Spoken Wikipedia

There is an ongoing effort to create a number of Wikipedia articles that can be listened to instead of read. Many users can greatly benefit from this feature and there is a constant need for contributors.

See Spoken articles for the current list of completed articles. This is a hidden category and is not shown unless the corresponding user preference 'Show hidden categories' is set. Do not include this category in article content categories.

WP:MINOR and more

[edit]

Hi there, please stop erroneously marking your edits as minor. A minor edit is one that could not possibly be the subject of a dispute: typo fixes, punctuation fixes, grammar improvements, reversion of obvious vandalism. The introduction of walls of academic babble is not a minor edit. Thank you.

Note also, that I have brought the article to the attention of our BLP (Biographies of Living Persons) Noticeboard here, since it has always been an article of questionable merit and the recent changes really feel like advertisement, and I'm also concerned that much of the content has been lifted from other sources, which could constitute copyright violations.

Further, if you happen to know Francisco J. Ricardo, then you would have a clear conflict of interest and you should not be editing that article. I'm sure you understand the ethical significance of conflicts of interest. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:25, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi, for all I know you are Cozy Bear, or an alt-right hacker trying to make Wikipedia all white and alt-right. I request dispute resolution. After 1 film (2nd about to be released) 13 books published by Bloomsbury and 7 self published albums, he should have a Wikipedia page. I do not have a conflict of interest. I was a 'fan' when I was at Harvard and he gave lectures. The minor edits were album dates. Adrienne, I happen to know, and she passed away in 2018. Your issue with her comment in 2014 no longer applies here. Astridjj (talk) 22:25, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You appear confused about a number of issues, the least of which is that you seem unaware you marked non-minor edits like this and this and this and this as minor. Do you see the big bolded m next to "updated reception to include film" for instance? The rest of your confusion I've tried to address at Talk:Francisco J. Ricardo. Hi, Ok, I didn't realize these were my latest edits. The latest edits were dates and links for albums. You may be going back further in the history than I had thought. Why are you jumping on this now? Well, it doesn't matter why now (since these were a while ago), but I do understand that these should have labeled as bigger edits. Do you want me to delete this material? Astridjj (talk) 00:11, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
