Article feedback

[edit]

An excellent start on your article Tatanka Means, I just wanted to bring a few matters to your attention:

  • Another editor has removed the image you added to the article because its use did not follow the requirements for using fair use images on Wikipedia. You can use other images from Wikimedia Commons or find images to upload yourself following the steps at the Finding images tutorial. See our module Contributing Images and Media Files for more information on how to properly find and use images on Wikipedia.
  • You repeat the same citations a number of times throughout the article. Citations to the same source should be combined in a single footnote. The training module Sources and Citations will help you with proper format for footnotes and citations.
  • Some of the citations contain only the title of the source or a bare url. Try to include as much information as possible about your sources, such as author, publisher, the title of the publication (the web page, magazine, etc.), the url, etc.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Rob (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:00, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Tatanka Means

[edit]

Hello Aster Violet,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Tatanka Means for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Natureium (talk) 03:08, 25 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
