Speedy deletion of The Commas (folk)

A tag has been placed on The Commas (folk) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Hi. It seemed very much to me as though you might not be finished with the above article, given that it was tagged in the same minute of creation. Since you inadvertently placed it a misspelling, however (double m), and since it did seem incomplete, I have moved it into your userspace at User:Asr/Comas. Once you've finished it, please feel free to move it back. If you aren't already familiar, you might want to look at the notability guideline for musical topics so that you can be sure that you indicate how this band meets those guidelines with reliable sources. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to let me know at my talk page. :) Alternatively, you can always ask for assistance at Wikipedia's help desk, which is typically manned around the clock by volunteers. Proposed deletion of SMSSecure

The article SMSSecure has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The subject is not notable per WP:GNG and WP:Notability (software). This article was copy-pasted from the TextSecure article and does not contain a single reliable source that is independent of SMSSecure that discusses (or even mentions) SMSSecure.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please familiarize yourself with the following Wikipedia guideline: WP:Notability. If no reliable third-party sources can be found on a topic, Wikipedia should not have an article on it. Blog posts, personal websites, and Internet forum postings are largely not acceptable as sources (see WP:SPS). In fact, one of the fork main's developper is french. It may explain why sources are in french.

Problems with upload of File:SMSSecure Icon.png

Thanks for uploading File:SMSSecure Icon.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
