RE: Alex Rodriguez/naming conventions
[edit]After looking at the naming conventions link, I agree that the accent mark shouldn't be in the article title. In fact, my involvement began after the page was moved by Chrisjnelson (talk · contribs) to Álex Rodríguez, and I commented that in proper Spanish, there shouldn't be an accent mark over the 'A'. My page move request was to remove the accent mark from where it isn't in the Spanish language. Chrisjnelson was the person who moved the article back to its accented form. I have no problem with the page being moved back to its present state, and I won't make any effort to move the page to an accented title.
Another related point: about the instances of his name within the article, should they be left without the accent mark for the same reason as the title? Or should they stay with the accent mark? Ksy92003 (talk) 21:07, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
