Cricket is a bat-and-ball team sport that has been played around the world for more than eight centuries. In fact, there is written evidence of Prince Edward playing cricket in 14th century England. It wasn't until the 17th century, however, that cricket became a professional sport played in competition, and not until a hundred years later that it became known around the world.

In the 17th century, Benjamin Franklin returned from England carrying along a copy of laws of the game and soon cricket was recognized in America. Then in the 18th century a cricket match was played between USA and Canada. American player John Barton King founded a out swinger, one the best fast bowler of that time. When King retired, so at that time cricket was at decline, baseball was getting popularity. Nowadays Cricket just outlasts among Asians residing in the America. New York and Florida will be venue of action Now it is well known that longer format Cricket is unsuccessful in the North America, but Twenty20 format is something else. Its duration and some other activities are quite American sort of culture. I am sure that it will bring in good results.
