Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Asi102, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. [edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Hemiauchenia (talk) 00:12, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Notice of noticeboard discussion
[edit]There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.Hemiauchenia (talk) 00:23, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
I'm a willing volunteer and able to help
[edit]I can see your first attempt at adding something useful at Rabbit was reverted. Please don't feel bad about it. Welcome to Wikipedia, where getting reverted is a part of the experience. If you'd like somebody to help you craft better work next time, please feel invited to call on me. I'd be happy to provide some useful feedback which I think would help you understand better what we're trying to do here. Again, don't sweat the reversion. Sometimes we have to start over. Worse things have happened. We'll find out if you're a wikipedian on your next edits. Just know you are not alone and you are not without supporters. BusterD (talk) 00:56, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hey there, I took a look at your addition to Rabbit – it looks like it would be a good addition to Wikibooks. This is a sister project of Wikipedia, that doesn't require sources and citations like an encyclopedia does. Have a look at "What is Wikibooks?" if you think you might be interested. ☆ Bri (talk) 01:11, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hey, Bri! It's good to see you're still helping us! If Asi102 is interested in getting feedback, I think we could use some of what is written by changing the writing style to a more encyclopedic format and attributing sources. I'd be happy to give them a hand if that's allowed. Mostly I didn't want to see them discouraged. I've been that new editor, and Asi102's writing is good. Not everybody gets it the first time. Or the second. Nice to see your datestamp. BusterD (talk) 01:17, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
I hope you don't feel anxious about what happened at ANI
[edit]You're a new editor and someone really overreacted to you. But almost everyone sided with you. You don't seem like you are doing anything wrong, just using a different writing style than main wikipedia pages want. Immanuelle ❤️💚💙 (talk to the cutest Wikipedian) 18:31, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
