October 2012
[edit]Hello, I'm Wiki13. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to 2012 Summer Olympics, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Wiki13 (talk) 17:08, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at 2012 Summer Olympics, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. - David Biddulph (talk) 17:12, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Solon Police Department
[edit]Your new article on the Solon Police Department is insufficient. In general, municipal police departments are not sufficiently notable to merit their own article, and are better served by adding mention of them the appropriate municipality article. I would do this with your submission, but you have not mentioned which Solon this force serves. Please clarify. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:07, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
- Dear User:WikiDan61, I am making my article for a school project. Please do not try to delete it until I am finsihed with it which will be within in the next few weeks. Thank You.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashley3840J (talk • contribs)
- Ashley,
- All articles, whether written for a school project or not, need to conform to Wikipedia guidelines and policies, including the criteria for inclusion. If you are required to write an article to show proficiency in Wikipedia editing techniques, I suggest you create the article in your user space (at User:Ashley3840J/Solon Police Department, for example). However, if you are required to create an actual article in article space, then you should choose a more notable topic. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:45, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
