User talk:Ashleigh King
Hi, Ashleigh! So glad to see you try this on Wikipedia - you are very brave to start a new article first! I recommend that you try editing some other, related ones first so you get the hang on how this all works. I would love to have you publish this text as-is on H-Kentucky network so we can add her to our list of Kentucky suffragists. Take a look at https://networks.h-net.org/node/2289/pages/138424/how-submit-item-h-kentucky
How about this idea? I start a Wiki stub on her with all the necessary components and then you start adding in the details you want... make sure you have citations on nearly every statement. (Editors here on Wikipedia are really tough on articles about women.) You can contact me via email at kywomansuffrage@gmail.com
OK, I've created an entry for her Mary Jane Warfield Clay - please feel free to add more details that will help with bolstering her importance as a figure in the history of Kentucky women and in the national story of woman suffrage. This will help with the peer review and keep her entry going. Thanks! Randolph.hollingsworth (talk) 09:14, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
