Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Problematic editing of 2015 SAFF Championship
[edit]Hi Ashhab1323, in these 1 & 2 edits on the article 2015 SAFF Championship you claim to be removing unsourced material, when in reality it is quite clear the Pakistan is not taking part in the event. I added two extra sources for good measure. If you feel that the article has issues please consider discussing it on the article's talk page. Thanks. Inter&anthro (talk) 19:53, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

[edit]I am assuming that your edit to Template:ICC T20I Championship rankings is a good faith edit, but the reference given still supports the previous figures. If you want to include new figures, you need a new ref. --David Biddulph (talk) 18:39, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
Non-free image usage
[edit]Hi Ashhab1323. File:Bangladesh Cricket Board Logo.svg is a non-free image which means that each usage of it on Wikipedia must satisfy all 10 of the non-free content criteria listed in WP:NFCCP as well as not be any of the uses listed in WP:NFC#Unacceptable use. The file's usage in Bangladesh national cricket team currently does not satisfy WP:NFCC#10c. If you want to use the image in a particular way, you need to provide a valid non-free use rationale that is specific to said usage per WP:NFCCE. Personally, I don't feel such a rationale can be provided because using the image in the national team's article is problematic per number 17 of WP:NFC#UUI. You can discuss this if you like at WP:FFD or WP:MCQ, but continuing to re-add the image without resolving the non-free content issues is not really the way to go and could easily be seen as edit warring or a copyright violation. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:32, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
- I did not notice that you added a non-free use rationale when I removed the file. My mistake and I have self-reverted and re-added it to the article. However, I do not think a valid non-free use rationale can be written for that particular usage because the non-free logos for parent entities (like national governing bodies, etc.) are generally not considered OK to use in articles for child entities (such as individual teams, etc.) per number 17 of WP:NFC#UUI, so I have started a discussion about this file's use at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 February 18#File:Bangladesh Cricket Board Logo.svg and asked for the opinions of other editors. Please feel free to comment if you like, but try and remember that the fact that other stuff exists is not always a good argument to try and make in such discussions and that WP:NFCC is not only a policy, but it was something created directly by the Wikimedia Foundation through a resolution. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:38, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Ashhab1323. Just saw that you re-added File:Bangladesh Cricket Board Logo.svg to Bangladesh national cricket team and after it was removed from the article by administrator Explicit. You also re-added the non-free use rationale for the article to File:Bangladesh Cricket Board Logo.svg after it was also removed by Explicit. For reference, the file's non-free usage was discussed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 February 18#File:Bangladesh Cricket Board Logo.svg and the result was "remove from Bangladesh national cricket team". Generally when you disagree with the close of an administrator, it's considered a good idea to discuss your concerns with them on their user talk page instead of simply reverting them per WP:CLOSECHALLENGE. Administrators have some discretion in their closes so its possible that you will be able to change their mind, but you should at least attempt to discuss it with them. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:47, 26 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi again Ashhab1323. As I mentioned above, this file's non-free usage was discussed at WP:FFD. If you feel the file should be allowed to be used in Bangladesh national cricket team, then please discuss your reasons with Explicit at User talk:Explicit since he is the administrator who closed the FFD discussion and he was the one who removed the file from the article and the corresponding non-free use rationale from the file's page. Non-free content usage must comply with WP:NFCC due to copyright concerns so continuing to add the file to the article without discussing it with Explict means there is a chance he will see doing so as disruptive and failing to get the point. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:25, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi again Ashhab1323. I've posted about this at User talk:Explicit#File:Bangladesh Cricket Board Logo.svg . Explicit is the administrator who closed the Files for Discussion thread about the non-free use of the file. If you have questions about the close, then you should discuss it with him. The files non-free usage was determined to not comply with Wikipedia's non-free content policy. Continuing to re-add the file may be seen as edit warring or disruptive and possibly result in an administrator taking action. The file is being removed per WP:NOT3RR as a possible copyright violation. If you feel the file should be allowed to be used in the article, then please discuss why with Explicit. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:42, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

Ashhab1323, please note that you do not have consensus to restore this logo to any other article. As Marchjuly pointed out above, a discussion took place and the decision was to remove the logo from Bangladesh national cricket team because it violated our extremely rigid WP:NFCC policy. If you believe the logo satisfies all the points of the criteria, please present your argument at WP:FFD for others to opine, in order to create a different consensus. Please note that edit summaries like this can be perceived as having a ownership issue, a behavioral pattern that is also highly discouraged. — ξxplicit 00:59, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- At it again. Please read and respond to the above. Spike 'em (talk) 21:03, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
- Ashhab1323, your continued disregard for consensus and policy has become disruptive. If you re-add the image again without consensus to do so, you will be blocked. — ξxplicit 23:55, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
