Hi, welcome to Wikipedia! I saw your recent edits at the Horse care page. I appreciate your edits, but I would like to remind you on the nature of wikipedia, which is an encyclopedia. In that context, be carefull of writing things that read like a howto guide of horse care. If you have questions, just ask me. -- Kim van der Linde at venus 11:10, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I saw that you are new, and it is confusing in the beginning, so that I why I responded. My suggestion is to think along the line of what kind of content you would expect when you would open an encyclopedia? -- Kim van der Linde at venus 11:32, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not a how-to guide. (aeropagitica) (talk) 11:56, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- I just had a glimp of this page before it was deleted. I think you made the same mistake as with the earlier editing of the Horse care page, it was a how-to guide. The title along already indicates a how to buy a horse. Sorry to see you work being undone, but at the other hand, it has to remain an encyclopedia. -- Kim van der Linde at venus 12:05, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit]The easiest way to find them is to lift them from other user pages. I think there are some lists floating around as well... OhNoitsJamieTalk 18:38, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
