Image of My chemical romance

You're right I also have to add that your image is bigger so my image doesn't have the rights to be on Wikipedia. I'm sorry. Thanks,Omar otiniano (talk) 22:37, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Procter and Gamble Logo.svg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Procter and Gamble Logo.svg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 03:42, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Gossy High

Right, but Wrong... and no, you won't know me, lol... Good guess though. I was in Year 11 at one point, but I'd technically be in Year 14 now, so I'm kinda outta the loop for school matters now. TubularWorld (talk) 23:08, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Deicide logo.svg

Thanks for uploading Image:Deicide logo.svg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 18:53, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

"Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Tennantdoc.jpg"

Hi. You recently added a notice to my talk page about Image:Tennantdoc.jpg. I am not responsible for this image. Thanks. --Billpg (talk) 00:13, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Because you are the most recent editor/reverter of the image, you are responsible. Asenine (talk)(contribs) 10:11, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
All I did was accidentally click on the "(rev)" link ages ago. Nonetheless, I hereby abdicate all responsibility for this image. Go ahead and delete it for all I care. Mr User:Khaosworks (the original uploader) may care, I don't know. Just FYI. --Billpg (talk) 17:33, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Not sure what else you're looking for, really, as there are three rationales already on the page, and one template. It's a promotional image (ownership is clearly shown as it's taken from a BBC site) used to illustrate a character portrayed by the actor. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 22:42, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

You said: But still, since he changes clothing show to show surely a picture of Tennant himself would suffice without causing confusion over WP:NFCC?
Not really, since the basic outfit doesn't change that much - the only real difference between series 2 and 3 (the two Tennant has been in so far) is the color of his outfit. It's practically a costume, and in any case, it's a costume that he wears specifically for the Doctor, not something he affects in his normal life. Additionally, if one just used a picture of Tennant himself it would fall foul of fair use as a means of illustration or commentary since then one could argue that showing Tennant doesn't portray "the Doctor", but Tennant (and yes, I've encountered this kind of argument before with other pictures). You can't really win for losing in such a situation. I'd say that the current fair use criteria are more than satisfied by asserting that it's for the purposes of illustrating the character, at the very least for the Tenth Doctor and Doctor (Doctor Who) articles.
Now, if you're trying to argue that it shouldn't be there for the David Tennant article, then that's a whole other approach, one which would be better focused on getting the picture out of that article rather than delete the picture itself, which is being used on multiple articles, some of which definitely fulfill fair use criteria. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 10:29, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Same to you, and a happy new year! :) --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 15:04, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Kinu - Deletion of "Image:Logo xs2theworld3.jpg" ‎ (CSD I3: incompatible license, non-commercial use only.)

Thanks for your suggestion, Ase! I've sent my client a couple of the GNU-free agreements you listed, so that hopefully the successful posting of this image can go forward.

Happy New Year and best regards,

Sound Factory (band) Notability & Neutrality

I've noticed Sound Factory band's article and it has a relevant reference, they are in the review section of Rolling Stone Magazine Online so please think about if it is the case to suspend the tags about neutrality and notability. As far as I know they are a great band trying to emerge in the US, considering that they are Italians and that the project features one of the most amazing living I guitarists I guess they are really outstanding and we just can give them the time to add awards and more press coverage to come in the future months...Also it seems they are almost a legend the italian jazz/pop music scene...
