Invitation to participate in study
Hello,
I am E. Whittaker, an intern at Wikimedia with the Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview.

Hello, Asdklf;. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 2 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Feedback on Irrigation edit.
Hello Asdklif,
Appreciate your personal thoughts on the edits. My experience in irrigation is extensive as I own a Landscaping company and I am currently a Subject Matter Expert in the field of Landscape for the state of CA in the USA. I currently hold a valid Landscape Contractor's license. The edit reflects the fact that irrigation is widely used for the following: 1) Sprinklers mounted on roof tops (surfaces) to cool buildings where poultry or Hogs are raised. 2) Irrigation of artificial turf (surfaces), to lower temperature during sporting activities 3) Irrigation of dirt (surface) roads to keep soil particles (dust) from damaging crops 4) Topical Irrigation of plant material (surface) to protest from frost.  Translat-a-thon NYC 2019 @ LaGuardia Community College is hosting the second annual Wikipedia Translatathon! At this event on Thursday evening and during the day Friday this week, anyone from the public is invited to LaGuardia to join students, professors, and CUNY faculty in translating Wikipedia articles among any languages which attendees understand. Themes for this event include public health and the history of New York City. New York City has a large immigrant population and great diversity of speakers of various languages. Among all schools in New York City, LaGuardia has the highest percentage of immigrant students, the highest percentage of students who speak a language other than English as their first language, and the greatest representation of language diversity. It is a strength of LaGuardia that it can present "Wikipedia translatathons", which are Wikipedia translation events. | |

Reverted edit
Hi!
You reverted my edit on [Product_code] and left a message on my talk page saying that it looked like a test. It definitely was not an edit as I was removing a random string of characters at the end of the page.

Similarly, you also reverted a number of my edits as well. I am similarly curious as to why you thought they constituted vandalism. In particular, you removed my addition of a link to the collection of archival records related M.O. Hammond. There are a number of images in the Commons that all come from this collection so it seemed like a worthwhile addition. Anyway, your thoughts on this would be appreciated. @Sethmains:hi, sorry for the delay. So the reason I flagged that particular edit was that it had been flagged by one of Wikipedia's anti-vandalism tools and when I reviewed the edit, the url looked liked it might be harmful/insecure because it contained things like "script" and "dll" and "SISN%20847?" After reviewing I can see that is indeed a real url and I should have checked initially, sorry. I would suggest following the format for more detailed information by putting links like this into a web citation, accessible by the "cite" part of the wiki text editor Asdklf; (talk) 02:41, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
