RE:Deobandi

First of all, on Wikipedia it does not matter what faith you are, anyone is free to edit any article they please. Second, I am Pashtun, hence most of my family is Deobandi, and I have read quite a bit of their literature. Do not make threats or I will have you blocked. I have no problem with this edit, and this information is correct and I will not undo it. As far as pictures, censorship is not allowed on Wikipedia. We keep the pictures there because they are very common among Shi'a Muslims, even if some Muslims reject it. We also have pictures of the Prophet (AS), which are allowed on Wikipedia as well. You are correct it should be written where both Sunni and Shi'a can accept it, however we should go over differences too. If he takes it out after the source has been given, I will warn him. Fatimah

You can't just remove sourced material like that on the basis that it will offend one or more groups. The idea of an encyclopedia is to present both sides and in this case the article is written mainly so the non-Muslim reader can get an understanding of Islam and the people associated with it. Removing material like that does not help them at all. In fact it verges towards Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not censored. If you think the material should not be included or re-written then please make your points at Talk:Fatimah. Thanks. The problem is that your recent edits are regarded as vandalism. Please read and understand WP:NOTCENSORED for a full and detailed explanation of why it is not appropriate to remove content simply because someone finds it offensive. Also, since you seem primarily concerned with Islam-related articles, I suggest you read WP:MOSISLAM for important details of how these topics are treated.
