Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Artlink editor, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Artlink Magazine, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Thanks, happy to join the Co-op, but I am still struggling to work out the process. I just did a redraft of the article entry for Artlink Magazine, with some references to academic accreditation, but I am still not sure if this is verifiable information. i don't really know how else to edit this page and I think basic information is the best way to go. By the way I have changed my user name but the conflict of interest of course remains. Artsandculture (talk) 05:03, 29 March 2015 (UTC)

Getting the article in shape.
[edit]Personally, I think you will do just fine in shaping up the article. As a writer, you certainly should know how to take out the guff from any article and present your material in a straightforward fashion. I have faith in you. The first thing you should do, though, is to change your username. Go to Wikipedia:Changing_username. WP does not like you to use a name that reflects your employer or any private business: I am not sure why, but there it is. Choose something that you can use for a long time when you edit or submit other articles for WP. If you are asked for a reason, write something like: "I want a username that reflects my broad interests. My original name doesn't do it." The WP:community here is always favorable to editors who do a variety of work to improve the encyclopedia.
After that, go to the top of your userpage and click on the tab marked "Sandbox." Then copy and paste in the article that you want to appear in WP. (You can get that from your most recent edits.) I will take a look at it and guide you into making improvements that will pass muster with the WP community. Let me know when you have done this. Good luck. By the way, other editors might give you other kinds of advice. It is up to you to choose which to follow. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 19:19, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
