David Bowie record?

[edit]

I don't know if you saw my post on the talk page for vevo the other day and updated the page or you had just noticed what Bowie's numbers were as I did. I find the vevo numbers confusing which is why I let someone who knows it better than me to update the page, which I thank you for. I think you saw it the way I did. That 51M beats 27M, but the total views for all of Bowie's videos were 51M for that 24 hrs. I think it is only 11M for Lazarus.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hello_%28Adele_song%29 "The music video for the song broke the Vevo Record by achieving over 27.7 million views within a 24-hour span, held previously by Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" which accumulated 20.1 million views in that timeframe."

So the record is for views of a video, not the artist's total views? If this is the case, then Lazarus would be in the #5 spot.

According to your source, Bowie has the record for most views of any artist in 24 hours at 51M over Adele's 36M. Should we start tracking total artist views?

I just thought I would mention this so that you might give it a closer examination before people start hacking your revision apart.

Edit: I thought this was the current version when I wrote this, but I see that you changed it back within minutes of posting. I'm think it should be at #5 if those are official numbers.

Speedy deletion nomination of EmptyChair (app)

[edit]

Hello Artmag,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged EmptyChair (app) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hello, Artmag. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, EmptyChair (app), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
