I don't believe it should be deleted simply because she won a Hugo award.
Ways to improve Arthrostylidium banaoense
Hi, I'm Nick Moyes. Artix Kreiger, thanks for creating Arthrostylidium banaoense!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thanks for creating this stub, but I find the content and references confusing. You appear to have given the wrong Genus (Acidosasa) in the Infobox. I've checked, and they are not synonymous. Also, the scale insect reference is irrelevant as it does not appear to mention this taxon at all. Can you check this, and remove it if my assssment is correct, please? There seems no point in including it if it only refers to scale insects attacking related host species. Also, the Google Books link ought to direct to page 389 (as per the index) although I am unable to view this page on my computer, either because I have reached my browsing limit, or because that page has not been scanned and published yet. You may also wish to add this reference to The Plant List: http://www.theplantlist.org/1.1/browse/A/Poaceae/Arthrostylidium/
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

- @Nick Moyes:, thank you. I'll take it slow now. Artix Kreiger (talk) 21:35, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- No worries, Artix. Your new plant stubs really are useful, although if you could ensure you do get the basics covered, it would save a lot of tidying up by others later on. The best way to 'prove' a valid species not only exists, but that its name genuinely is the currently accepted one (rather than a synonym) is to include a reference to The International Plant Names Index or to The Plant List. (You may get a warning about the security certificate of the IPNI site as I'm currently seeing it, but it is hosted by RBG Kew and is perfectly safe and extremely reliable). These sites will also give you the current author citation as well as synonyms.
- Perhaps you'd like to join WikiProjects:Plants, which can be very helpful if you run into difficulties? Keep up the good work. Regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 21:54, 2 September 2017 (UTC)

Re Your Query at User_talk:Plantdrew
Artix, see WP:AUTOPATROL, which is the opposite of reviewer privs. Concerns might be that you're relatively new; almost all of your creations are plant stubs which (though well-form[att]ed), are basically automatically notable; and the history of Elizabeth Leggett. Do you have many more stubs to create? ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 12:41, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- A lot more. Artix Kreiger (talk) 21:35, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- I'm really sorry, but the New Page Review process does mean that if I, or another NPR, goes through a series or pages that you created, every approved review will leave notification on your talk page. I've asked for the ability for NPRs to direct worthwhile comments to the talk page of the article, but this hasn't been instigated yet. I might suggest that Reviewers are also given the ability not to have the automatic text left on the article creator's page if there's no problem with it. Sorry about that. Keep up the good work Nick Moyes (talk) 22:10, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- PS: It would be great if you added something about yourself and your botanical (or other) interests on your Talk Page. I'm afraid us pedantic types tend to check out new article creators to sense how committed they are. Stuff on the talk page really helps that assessment. 22:10, 2 September 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for creating Arthrostylidium sarmentosum, Artix Kreiger!
Wikipedia editor Nick Moyes just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Your second sentence is not really very helpful. Either you are refering to the distribution of the Genus, or the species - you've left it very ambiguous. I take it you meant to desctribe the distribtuion of this single species? In which case I'm not confident you'vre rfeerenced the statment adequately. For all I and other readers may know A. sarmentosum occurs in only one of those places, and the Tropicos reference to the Genus doesn't help me. Do please consider the best ways to present the most reliable references. Here's one for you to consider which evidenc es it occurring in the Caribbean. Does it only occur there? I have no idea - so please help by doing the research to make this brief stub as reliable as possible. https://www.kew.org/data/grasses-db/www/imp00961.htm

Image uploads
Hey there, you seem to be adding book cover images to articles that need them, so thanks. However, you should be adding them to articles within the same editing session, not waiting a few days. It violates WP:NFCC to have unused non-free images on Wikipedia. As you can see from the notices on this talk page, there's a bot that will tag them for deletion within about 48 hours. I also regularly tag new book cover images with image categories, and tag orphaned files; I'll try not to tag images too soon after you upload them, but checking upload dates isn't part of my regular routine. Let me know if I can be of any assistance, thanks again! — TAnthonyTalk 03:38, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- oh ok. I see. Thanks though. I kind of tend to do one repetitive thing in masses in real life, thus upload en masse. Then add them to articles en mass as well. Thanks for telling me. I'll start adding them now. Artix (Message wall) 11:04, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- There are also limitations on the size/dimensions of non-free images. See the specs at WP:Image resolution, but basically the total pixels when you multiply width x height should be 100,000 px or less. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 15:27, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- oh? I thought it was under 400 px? I'll head over there now to read it. Thanks. Artix (Message wall) 15:31, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

Some explaining.....
Hi; I wanted to know if my change of template S-line/KHARKIVMETRO right/Oleksiivska had been successful. Hence my edit (a few minutes ago) on Arkhitektora Beketova (Kharkiv Metro) was a test. I know that Wikipedia articles are not supposed to be used for testing but I didn't expect anybody to notice 😁. Thank you for your sharp eye and desire to keep Wikipedia articles in good shape. By the way my change of template S-line/KHARKIVMETRO right/Oleksiivska was successful. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 18:15, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Yulia Romero: oops lol. Thanks for the intro. I am glad it worked well for you. Have you heard of the "purge" function? if you go to preferences and then gadgets, you would find it. It would force the page to reflect the utmost latest revision. cheers Artix (Message wall) 18:18, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

Ellie Gall
You have made redirect to the same page: Stargate Origins>>Ellie Gall>>Stargate Origins. If You will not remove redirect and will not make an article, Ellie Gall page will be nominated for deletion! – Vilnisr T | C 21:56, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- I will work on it soon. You don't have to nominate it for deletion. Artix Kreiger (talk) 22:37, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
The article Ellie Gall has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Doesn't meet WP:GNG or WP:NACTOR. No significant coverage with only incidental mentions in reliable sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kb.au (talk) 05:47, 20 January 2018 (UTC)
Stargate Origins Cast
Hi! First of all, please, stop making pages with redirect back to Stargate Origins, I (aka FreeRogue) already added content for Ellie Gall, so, please, don't start edit war, I will remove all redirects that leads back to Stargate Origins! If You make a page, please, add information about actor immediately and don't make redirect! Second - there is not enough information on Philip Alexander to create a page for him as this will be his first significant role. Third - for Shvan Aladdin You can use IMDB, by making filmography you will make page look bigger – Vilnisr T | C 20:48, 29 January 2018 (UTC) – FreeRogue · · · Talk · · · 20:52, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Vilnisr:, I have added enough information to make an article out of it. Artix Kreiger (talk) 21:01, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Philip Alexander- One sentence is not "enough", you need to expand it or someone will try to delete it! Good luck! :) – Vilnisr T | C 21:05, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
Ansfried the Elder, Count of or count in Lotharingia
Hello. I see you've moved this new article, but unfortunately I think the new name has a quite distinct and wrong meaning. I thought carefully about that name before posting it so I wish you had contacted me first. This is a 10th century person with very little known about him, and at least one close relative with the same name. In this period historians, and indeed the record keepers of the time, see the word count as often almost like a job title, and so historians make a careful distinction between "X count in Y" and "X Count of Y". People who are Count of X have a geographical title like the ones found later in the middle ages. This Ansfried was CERTAINLY NOT Count of Lotharingia, which had a different boss. He was just a count hanging around there, so to speak. Historians tend to call him Count Ansfried the elder, Count Ansfried II, or Count Ansfried I. I did not want to use this in/of distinction in a WP article title, but this is really a difficult period to make distinct article titles, and I have also been criticized for titling an article with a "Count X" form, but I think also no one will accept X, count, right? (I have been cleaning up a whole bunch of poor 10th century articles which I did not make, so this discussion has wider applicability.) Many figures are just known by one name and a couple of records. Historians often do just write Count X, e.g. Count Ansfried the elder. Given what I have just explained, is there not a better article title we may use than the new one you have given? In any case I do think the new name is definitely wrong I am afraid.--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 16:05, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Andrew Lancaster:, oops sorry. I will revert it. However, I meant to capitalize the "Elder" and Count part. Artix Kreiger (talk) 16:07, 17 February 2018 (UTC)

Serious note
Please Artex, stop mass moving set of articles named "List of memorials....." you all know what you caused here. There is another problem, these pages contain entries not classified as "place", you have just moved another large number of pages to wrong title. Stop mass-moving of pages completely and consider this serious reminder before seeking administrative intervention. You good faith but unconstructive and undiscussed move is turning to something else.Ammarpad (talk) 17:21, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
Addendum to the note on mass-moving of pages
I saw you blanked my note on your massive mass moving of pages to unconventional and utterly wrong titles. You've the right to do so, but I will remind you that, the blanking is conclusive proof that you read the message.
Initially my impression was that the problem was mild, ergo my response but your move log shows the problem is more severe than I thought. It ranged across vast number of pages including silly move like this which was instantly reverted by admin. Moving on entire pages with title "x family" like you erroneously moved large number of pages in this category to wrong titles because you read one essay upside down and all had to be reverted. You also went ahead and mass moved pages of US presidents memorials to another wrong title and had to be reverted. You earlier messed Tajikistan related pages and templates via mass moving to another wrong name because you misunderstood the convention, and all had to be reverted.
I never thought the problem reached this level. But since you understand the mess you caused and apologized, I will strongly advise you to stick to the promise you made here and cease all moving of pages. And only use WP:RM for any page you want move.
It doesn't matter whether you blank this reminder again, it will only be definitive proof that you read it. The next time you move page to wrong title without discussion or another entire set of pages in category to unconvtional or wrong title, I will raise the issue at Administrators noticeboard which will determine the grave of the mess you're causing and your overall behavior. I hope it will not reach that level. –Ammarpad (talk) 10:54, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
@Ammarpad:, yes. Thank you for the comprehensive reminder. I will stick to WP:RM for moving pages, and will never move pages again, unless its vandalism. Artix Kreiger (talk) 13:32, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
