Photos of Guatemalan international schools?

[edit]

Thank you so much for making the template of the Belgian schools!

Do you take pictures for Wikipedia? Are you in Guatemala City? WhisperToMe (talk) 18:54, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like you're far from Guatemala City. Anyway I have an idea: Why not photograph the major landmarks of your town? The schools, the post office, the parks, the town hall, the train station, etc. I liked to do that back in Houston... it is a way of sharing my culture, my history, my society and life with the world. WhisperToMe (talk) 07:18, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Those pictures are meant to be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. For example see Commons:Category:Bellaire, Texas or Commons:Category:Humble, Texas - The pictures show the world what the communities look like. They can be used in Wikipedia articles in any language. So, yes, the Wikimedia Commons is an album of culture of countries around the world. What do you think? Oh no. It's too bad to hear that :( WhisperToMe (talk) 03:04, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
