{{helpme}} I'm really keen to hear how to refine my page making skills! thanks Artentries (talk) 18:10, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article needs additional references to reliable sources (such as books) to show that the person is notable, per the general notability guideline.
The second part, the 'list' of paintings, is very difficult to read .It would be better to split it into parts, maybe describing a little about the paintings (if such information could be sourced).
It might be worth adding an infobox, template:infobox person - have a look at that link for information about it.
Apart from that, it just needs expanding - but the most important thing of all is, it needs better references.
For more help, you can either;
  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.
Best wishes,  Chzz  ►  18:18, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Hany Armanious requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Paste Let’s have a chat. 19:05, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Help re

[edit]
I've moved this over from Talk:Olga Chernysheva; please use helpme here on your own talk.
The code that causes the copyright message is this bit, at the very start of the article;
{{csb-pageincludes|1=http://foxyproduction.com/artist/view/644}}

If you are confident you have fixed the issue, you can simply remove that; please put a good comment in the edit summary (e.g. "removed all copyrighted material taken from foxyproduction.com").
For more help, you can either;

A tag has been placed on Jimmy Baker (American artist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hairhorn (talk) 00:15, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
