Request reason:
Dear admin, I apologize sincerely for wording the sentences in a promotional manner. I read the guide and completely understand the reasons why it was pulled and that you guys had to block me from disrupting the nature of articles written in Wikipedia. I hope you guys can give me a second chance to write my first article. I'm definitely new to this and will keep things objective and non-promotional in writing. I just did an internship with the tech company and worked with their mental health non-profit partner organization and they're really supporting their community, so I attempted to put them in good light but I get it. Thank you for your time, Arsen

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- A few comments and questions relating to your unblock request.
- First of all, I do sympathise with you. You came here in good faith, thinking that you were doing something perfectly good, and then found yourself blocked and your work deleted. That must be rather frustrating. I also appreciate that you have accepted the reason for the block, which is something that many people in your situation don't do. I would therefore very much like to unblock you, but I am not doing so at present, because of doubts about what editing you are likely to do.The trouble with just unblocking on the basis of what you have said in your unblock request is that experience over the years shows that many blocked editors who say "I understand why I was blocked, and I won't make the same mistake again" actually don't really understand, and if they are unblocked they continue to make the same mistakes. I am therefore giving you a few pointers to what some of the relevant issues are, in the hope that you will then be able to make it clear that you really do understand.
- You say that you would like to be unblocked to write your first article. Do you intend to have another go at writing about Codie Pie, but in a less promotional way, or are you thinking of writing an article on a completely different subject? If you are thinking of writing about Codie Pie, you should be aware that Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest discourage you from doing so, as having the sort of close connection with the company may make it difficult to stand back from the subject, and write about it in the neutral way which is needed. Also, you should be aware that if the company does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability guidelines then any article you write, no matter how neutrally written, is likely to be deleted. I have made a fairly brief search for information about Codie Pie, and it is not obvious to me whether it does satisfy Wikipedia's notability standards. I suggest that, if you are still thinking of writing about Codie Pie, you first look at Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations, which gives a fairly good summary of issues which arise when writing articles about companies, and also links to various policies and guidelines which give further detail. (My personal opinion is that there are far too many of these policies and guidelines, and many of them are far too long and complicated, making it very confusing for new editors, but for better or worse we have them.)
- My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way any mistakes you make (which you will, because we all do) will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start. Obviously, if your only interest is to write about Codie Pie then that advice will not appeal to you, but if you are interested in becoming a contributor to Wikipedia in other ways, that is likely to be a better way in. If, however, you do decide to go ahead and write about Codie Pie, you should start by creating a draft Article for creation, which can then be reviewed by an experienced editor, who will decide whether it is suitable to accept as an article, and if not, give you feedback on what, if anything, might make it suitable.
- I suggest that you consider what I have written, and post a message here, briefly describing what sort of editing you hope to do if you are unblocked. That should make it easier for either me or another administrator to decide whether unblocking you is likely to be a good idea. (All this may seem like imposing extra burdens on you, but I actually think it is more friendly than just unblocking you, knowing full well that the outcome might well be that you waste a lot more time and effort doing stuff which is just going to be deleted again.) Request reason:
Dear admin, I apologize for neglecting to respond since last year, I recently went through my email messages and saw I missed this. At the time of the decline, I sort of lost hope in contributing to Wikipedia, thinking my first attempt fell short and that I was banned for life. I read through your last message and have a solid direction on how I would like to contribute. I will steer clear from writing about CodiePie until the company picks up on their notoriety. I will place my first draft in the Article for creation before ever going live and I will write objectively. My passion is writing about mental health and discovering the latest enrichment programs to share. I would like to reference articles from their partner organization called the Painted Brain which has some notoriety as it has been written on Yahoo News, LA County DMH, NAMI, UCLA, USC, just nominated as YBCA's 100 list, The Mighty, Movement for Global Mental Health, Artzray, and Elyn Saks just stepped on as a board member. If you will be so inclined to give me the opportunity to contribute meaningful articles about the history of the Painted Brain and objective data supporting mental health awareness, I would so gratefully appreciate the second chance and deliver meaningful pieces to support the community of mental health. Thank you for your time and being so thorough in the last message and I apologize again for not catching this in my inbox earlier. Cordially, Arsen

- @Arsenbrin: I'm not seeing any hint of avoiding conflict of interest and promotional work. Saying that you'll not work on one promotional article and instead focus on another still goes against WP:NOTADVERT, WP:COI, and so on. I recommend not writing at all about anything to which you are connected as you really don't seem to understand how to work within the rules.
