Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed a file deletion tag from Scott Hogan. When removing deletion tags, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. JMHamo (talk) 13:29, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Scott Hogan. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. JMHamo (talk) 13:31, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did at Jordan Wynter, you may be blocked from editing. JMHamo (talk) 13:32, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages as you did with this edit to Duncan Watmore. ★ Oliverlyc ★ ✈✈✈ Pop me a message! 13:33, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there. Seems like I made a mistake with Wikipedia's WP: PROD policy. You are allowed to remove PROD tags. Terribly sorry about this :( 175.156.194.104 (talk) 13:45, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
Unblock request
[edit]Arsenalisthebestclubever (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
This article was proposed for deletion by an editor in the past. |
Accept reason:
Ok. I reconsidered given your comments and Kuyabribri's. Please nte that disruptive editing is not accepted. Please read the policies and do not go around removing deletion templates without providing a fix for the issue that got to the deletion request in the first place. If and when in doubt, ask in the article's talk page. in the case of football players, ask for consensus at FOOTY instead of engaging in edit wars. Note that blanking another editor's user page *is* vandalism and will lead to a block of this account. The short block is now lifted. If a new one is needed to protext the project, be assured it will come and it will not be short next time. Always ask when in doubt, and always assume good faith. I did here, but it only goes so far. Alexf(talk) 14:43, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Why exactly are your grounds for being unblocked - all I can see here is text from the PROD template? Mdann52 (talk) 13:57, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Hello, I came across this user talk page by accident, but it appears that several of the warnings that this user received were on invalid grounds. In looking through this user's contribution history, I see two edits that are truly vandalism: [1] [2]. This edit was also against policy but being only his/her second edit since account registration we can overlook that and advise the user on the rules. All of the warnings above with respect to the articles Duncan Watmore, Jordan Wynter, and Scott Hogan were in response to JMHamo (talk · contribs) edit warring with this user with respect to removing and reinstating prod tags. I respectfully request an admin review the reasons behind this user's block and either lift it or shorten it. In either case the user needs to be warned that the vandalism I identified above is not acceptable. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:31, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- This was my mistake caused by my confusion between removing a PROD tag and AfD tag from an article. I apologise about this and it won't happen again. JMHamo (talk) 14:39, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

Now that you have been unblocked....
[edit]Please note that you are not allowed to vandalize user pages as you did at User:JMHamo and User:Oliverlyc. You also are not allowed to remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, as you did at Aaron Chapman (footballer). If there is text in the editing window that says "Please do not remove this notice...", then please heed that notice. If you wish to object to deletion of an article that is nominated at Articles for deletion, follow the link in the banner to be taken to the discussion page and share your reasons for objecting there.
You are allowed to remove deletion notices from articles that are nominated for proposed deletion, and your removing such a notice is your indication that you object to its deletion.
All of that aside, please note that all articles must meet the notability guidelines in order to be kept on Wikipedia. There are specific guidelines on football players which can be found here. The guidelines state in part that players on a youth team generally do not meet the criteria unless they meet the broader general notability guideline.
Let me know if you have any questions. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:02, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

The article Barclays Premier League Top 25 Goal Scorers - 2012-13 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable WP:LISTCRUFT
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. GiantSnowman 10:58, 22 June 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mohamed Coulibaly (footballer), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. GiantSnowman 13:32, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Crewe railway station may have broken the syntax by modifying 3 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

[edit]Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Jermain Defoe. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 23:04, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
