Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website, I have blocked this account. Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a change of username of your current account here. The new username must represent only yourself as an individual and comply with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. Alexf(talk) 12:45, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Many thanks for your quick response.
Please can you advise if its the actual sources or how the articles have been uploaded that caused the refusal?. I will take your notes and re-submit. I now need to change my name. Will the submission/page still exist or do I need to re create? Thanks AMS London (talk) 13:49, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Non Inflammatory you mean like: As you have tried to mislead us , You must now account for your attempt to mislead us,consider this your final chance to be truthful, I'll give you one last chance All of the accusations I presume are non inflammatory? Slightly threatening. Threats from behind a screen, how very Twitter. Again if you want to block me, im sure another who witnessed the talk will continue with the submission. Have a lovely day. I renamed, but I will not unblock given the issues raised here and the combative tone of the unblock requests. That you do not see that what you have written here is not appropriate convinces me that your are iuncompatible with a collaborative environment like Wikipedia. You also have not addressed the conflict of interest and the promotional nature of your edits. Won't oppose any admin that feels differently and thinks that an unblock is warranted. It just won't be me. I make note of the threat to commit sock puppetry. You have turned a simple user name block into something far worse. If you carry out your threat to bring in another user, you will guarantee never being unblocked. The choice is yours. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:55, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

AMS London is 'ArryMetSallyLondon like the movie when Harry Met Sally as Londoners we don't pronounce the H and I live in London. I did not know it would get me blocked. I am happy to change it so I can re submit my articles as advised. Many thanks. AMS London (talk) 14:18, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Nonsense. We aren't idiots, we know perfectly well what your username stands for. As you have tried to mislead us and as you've been violating WP:COI and WP:PROMO in your edits, I have strengthened your block. You must now account for your attempt to mislead us and for your inappropriate edits. Please consider this your final chance to be truthful. Yamla (talk) 14:57, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This response below from Yamla is similar to that of communist china. Accusatory and very low brow. "please consider this your final chance to be truthful" ? what are the repercussion? Not having a page submitted about a Scottish Fashion Designer? Power is an addictive thing. I am happy to include my name in the change. Or if you would rather I do not submit anything else as an avid fashion lover. Im happy to leave it. Im sure one of the others at the talk can take my mantle. I stopped reading at "communist china". If you want to make a request that is not inflammatory, I'll give you one last chance. 331dot (talk) 15:27, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have reblocked as WP:NOTCOMPATIBLE, COI, promo, sock threat -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:02, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi DeepFriedokra many thanks for renaming.
I should note my response to MarcGarver which is courteous and professional in tone and my play on words in the choice of original user name after attending a talk that Mr Armour gave. Im afraid the tone of responses if you read carefully will show accusatory aggression on your end so I am unsure where my incompatibility with Wikipedia environment originates? If you set the tone it's already at accelerate. Accusing someone of being sly is not a kind thing. I believed after a wonderful talk that Mr Armour gave on his creative career why more people didn't know of him. Hence why I created the page as he had an interesting story. He had some great speakers and friends from the industry that is exciting to a fashion lover like myself. It's really that simple. ArryNoH (talk) 18:04, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

globally renamed AMS London to ArryNoH

[edit]

I globally renamed AMS London to ArryNoH. However, once again the renaming software is stuck. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:50, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Graeme Armour, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi,
I cannot contest this as I am blocked. It wont allow me to contest it. Does this seem fair?
Who am I promoting? I work in a fashion store as an assistant manager and all information I listed regarding the subject is available online or I heard at a talk. In the initial response by MarcGarver he informs me to use footnotes. How we ended up here I have no idea. ArryNoH (talk) 18:29, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
