Cobia
[edit]Thanks for the note about the Cobia. I've always wanted to come take a tour - maybe someday. I was wondering if you could tell me what documents and records the museum has for the Cobia's WWII service. Do you have any photos or movies of the Cobia from that time, or copies of the Cobia's battle reports? --Zippy (talk) 05:51, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- I can definitely check into it. I don't know of the top of my head, other than some of the summaries we have in the quick answer manual. Also, I'm not sure if you're the person who added it to the article on the Cobia or not, but Gato-class submarines had a crew of 80 men, not 60. Crew of the Cobia was 72 enlisted and 8 officers. I'm looking for documentation to counter that in place on the article, because that's dead wrong according to the sub vets I have spoken with through the museum.
