Caerleon F.C. / Caerleon A.F.C.
Why have you reverted my edit to Caerleon FC ? Caerleon A.F.C. is the correct name of this Club which i am associated with. We now have two pages with identical content !
Caerleon F.C.
Evidence of Caerleon A.F.C. as requested: Check out this seasons Welsh cup results at: http://www.caldicottownafc.co.uk/Cups.htm Hence I have reinstated my redirect on the Caerleon F.C. page. Also, would be polite/helpful to include in your comments why you are reverting edits.

Did you mean to revert me? If so, why? I closed the debate as a snowball keep; we have probably the world's foremost expert on F&SF advocating keep and categorically asserting notability in several areas, after all. Guy (Help!)

Inserting an image "for dummies"
I am new to this, trying to insert an image on an encyclopedia page, not sure where to upload it to?
When I press "insert image" it pulls up the code that I update to my info:

John Hobson
Where do I upload an image to get it to be referenced by this tag?
What goes in the fields to upload below?
Destination filename:
Summary (author, source, URL, fair use rationale if applicable, extra {{tags}}, etc.):
I just don't get where the image folder is and how to reference??
Thanks for any help

Hi Arnie!
Hey, Arnie! Thanks for keeping an eye on the Ebilshroom matter at my talk page earlier, and for helping to find a solution to it! :) I keep growing more and more impressed at your great work and fast learning. You have a great future here, and I'm so proud and happy I could offer you my modest advice with your first steps. I'm making a test template for you now - with a little luck, you'll have it ready and working just tomorrow :) Love, Phaedriel - 03:30, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Also, just a little clarification
Quoted from WP:SOCK..."Some people feel that second accounts should not be used at all; others feel it is harmless if the accounts are behaving acceptably." So, technically, second accounts ARE allowed, but are usually discouraged. Just some clarification. Jack 23:42, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

I'm a little confused with your editing the edits I have made to our page (Call_of_Combat). You want me to go into a detailed rebuttal of the points raised? Cause I got a little bored going through that and decided it was far easier to just delete the whole lot.
You want me to remove one line at a time so as not to alert you that by removing large amounts of text I am changing the overall tone/truth of the article? You want me to slowly change the overall meaning of the article because of the above? Or can I remove rubbish because it is rubbish?
RFA
Thanks so much for supporting me in the RFA. I am grateful for your response, and it really means a lot to be appreciated. Thanks again! hmwithtalk 04:18, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
sockpuppet answer
Hello, I don't know if Phaedriel's online, but I'm here, and I think WP:DUCK applies for the probable sockpuppet nature of these accounts. I, like probably hundreds of people, have her page on my watchlist. She is a very popular person, for reasons you already know. Thanks for your vigilance! --Kyoko 13:18, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- This same person seems to have some sort of grudge against User:Acalamari, because for months, this vandal has been alleging romances between Acalamari and various female admins, and if I remember correctly, the vandal made numerous inappropriately named accounts ("Acalamari loves etc."). Yes, it is trolling, but I think the duck test applies too. I can't think of any other persistent vandal who works quite this way. --Kyoko 13:29, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- You would probably have to go through the edit history of Acalamari's page, as well as the pages of all his other targets, to find an answer. I don't feel like doing that right now, to be honest.--Kyoko 13:32, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Socks
Hello Arnon Chaffin: the recruit an IP club is just an imaginary club that Ryan Postlethwaite and I made up since we are both users who have managed to convince an IP address to register an account. :) All you have to do is convince an IP to register, and bingo! You're a member of the club! :)
As for the sockpuppeteer, I believe that the puppetmaster is a user called "Owner of boats". After my RfA from two months ago ended unsuccessfully, a group of users said about how sorry they were for my nomination not being a success. As I was responding to them all, I edit conflicted on my own talk page with a user called "Owner of boats". They were the first to talk about my love for certain female admininistrators (at that stage, Natalie Erin). I am certain Owner of boats is the puppetmaster, as they started this. In fact, they've just started their trolling again a few days ago. Acalamari 17:38, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- I don't want to discuss the troll for much longer, as it will only provoke him; however, I will answer your questions. No, I have not had any trolling before all this happened: all I had was vandalism. As for the RfA, I don't understand your question: the only people who came to my talk page after it ended was the bureaucrat and administrators, as seen here. As for looking into this, the only way we'd find out is to do a checkuser on all the names, but since this is a case of obvious sockpuppetry, I don't believe a checkuser would be allowed. Owner of boats began the trolling, and it's continued since then. If you want, you could go through the history of mine and Natalie Erin's user/talk pages and list all the users who have done the "WikiLove" trolling, but that could take an hour or two or more to do. Anyway, the user will just get reverted-and-blocked on site. It's annoying what this person does, but there are plenty of people watching my pages, so the troll's accounts won't last very long. I appreciate your input, but in the interests of WP:DENY, I think it's best that we try not to talk about the troll. Acalamari 18:18, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

A correct change fasely considered vandalism.
Hi. I made a correction on the Wikipedia article for Lucario. I noticed it said the pokemon was a Water and some other type or so in the "In the Video Games" section, and this has been proven incorrect for awhile now. I changed it to the proper types, Steel and Fighting. If you need proof of this information it can be found on http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/448.shtml. I noticed the false sentence I erased was not restored. The sentence I added was not making the article nonfactual in any way, and wether you had it kept or not, I don't find it as something worthy of being called. I'd also like to say that in the future, please make sure if you think a change has been nonfactual and was only vandalism. Research in the subject in other sources. If none of this is enough, I also own Pokemon Diamond, have a Lucario in that game, and it is listed in the game as a Steel and Fighting type. Please respond on the talk page of my account (I just didn't log into it when I edited the article) "Drillkid31" if you wish to speak to me more about this matter. I simply don't like being charged with vandalism when I was only trying to help get rid of false information. Thank you for your time.
For those of you who don't get the above, I edited with proven information, and although it is still on the page, I got slapped with a vandalism warning after editing it while not on my account. I simply don't like getting falsly slapped with vandalism warnings.
Drillkid31 01:06, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Why did you post something on my talk? Something about vandalism? I know it says "test", but why put it on my talk? :D JackTalk 03:11, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Re: My own Template
As your template is worded, it assumes bad faith (level 3+), whether or not you do when you use it. It calls the user's action "vandalism" and urges the user to stop vandalizing. That is assumption of bad faith. Typical level one warnings merely state the edit was unconstructive and assumes good faith, level two warnings assume neither good nor bad faith, and states that the edit "appears" to be vandalism. It isn't until the later two warning levels that vandalism is assumed. As for examples of this, I've already posted the examples in my previous talk comment (Regarding your "vampire smiley" warn template), regarding the template in this particular form. Your fight against vandalism is commendable, but there is a need to have reasonable warnings given out to those who make unconstructive edits. Not everyone making an unconstructive edit is doing it out of bad will, hence the usual need to start off with a level one warning that assumes good faith. If the user continues with bad edits after a low level warning (levels 1-2) is given out, that is when the higher level warnings (and then the block requests) can be pursued.
