Hello. Please be aware that we don't use sponsored stadium names when there is a reasonable alternative – for instance we call the City of Manchester Stadium by that name rather than Etihad Stadium. Sponsored names are only used in cases where stadiums are known by no other name, e.g. Macron Stadium. Cheers, Number 57 19:26, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Thank you for letting me know about sponsorship names, I was unaware of this.

Pedro Richards

[edit]

Hi, just a quick note about your recent edits to the Pedro Richards. Edits should be accompanied by a WP:RS to confirm what you have added. As it stands we have nothing in the article to prove he played for Arnold Town, which is required. If you can provide a link (online if possible, but offline will do fine e.g. a book or even a football programme) add it to the article as a reference - don't worry if you're unsure of the technical aspects of referencing as I can do the formatting if required. Without references information is liable to removed from articles as potentially unreliable. Otherwise, keep up the good work. Keresaspa (talk) 21:50, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Gary Simpson (footballer, born 1961), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Gary Simpson (footballer, born 1961), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:48, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gary Simpson (footballer, born 1961), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ilkeston Town F.C.. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Referencing

[edit]

Hello. When you changed a sourced fact, as you did here at 1874 Northwich F.C., you need to provide a new reference. Failure to do so makes it appear that the information in the article has been falsified. Please could you provide a reference noting the new record. Thanks, Number 57 01:00, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Julian Joachim, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Unsourced stats. Mattythewhite (talk) 23:14, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Central Midlands Football League, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Collingham F.C. (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
