Thank you
Arjayay, thank you, thank you for your insightful comment and help on the Maresin page. I really struggled, unsuccessfully, to correct the double listing of References.
Hi, Thank you for the instructions, honestly, I am not a paid contributor, all I wanted to do was help with the citations whereever possible and was only trying to help improve the oslotimes entry out of my own free will, I don't have a conflict of interest, nor do I want to add facts that aren'tPrabalta (talk) 07:30, 4 January 2016 (UTC) credible, so I haven't made any changes after the message you sent me. However if you could help in editing the article so it meets the guidelines it would be wonderful. Anyways th\nk you for your help and I hope you will help me sort this page out. Thank you. Prabalta (talk) 07:30, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Prabalta
As far as I can see, no-one has accused you of being a paid contributor, the standard template I left on your talk page states" if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article The Oslo Times, you may have a conflict of interest."
Your post on the Help desk here stated "I need to add photos and edit the photo captions on the Oslo Times wikipedia page. As these are photos of the exclusive interviews we have conducted"
Your statements "I need to" and "we have conducted" is a very clear admission of a connection to The Oslo Times, and your only edits to an article have been to The Oslo Times, making yours a single purpose account (SPA). Furthermore, several of your edits were damaging, such as removing the maintenance templates at the top.
Much of the unsourced material has since been removed by another SPA - User:Soniyaray although the promotional tone remains - journalists write in that manner most of the time so can rarely see it.
So, what do you want to add, and what WP:independent sources do you have to support the additions? - Arjayay (talk) 08:41, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
Hi Arjayjay, if you check the citations I have added they are all credible independent sources maybe you should check those instead of accusing me, I asked for help, also, I am not being paid to add the citations, I was asking for help but instead of help all i get is accusation I thought you were supposed to help I don't want to advertise on a contrary I want the wikipedia page that meets wikipedia's standards, I dont want to make any edits especially if it harms the page but if you could just help in sorting out the issues and tell me what needs to be done and where the issues are it would help a lot, Also everything I have added has links that are credible everything else too can be verified, you mentioned the tone, does that mean most parts need to be rewritten? maybe this would be helpful. And I am sorry but I had no idea it was harmful I thought the citations and sourcing were the major issue and once that was complete I removed the template, but on photos wikipedia requires copyright holders to upload the photos so would you accept photos that don't belong to me be uploaded by me? The reason I uploaded the photos were because I took those photos, but I didn't know tht we were allowed to upload other ppl's work. Prabalta (talk) 09:10, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
- Prabalta + User:Soniyaray - can we first clear up who I am talking to?
Prabalta leaves me a message and then User:Soniyaray comes along and heavily edits it, twice.
A big no-no in Wikipedia is editing another's posts on talk pages, so if User:Soniyaray is a separate account, they need to be warned, and I will answer Prabalta's original post.
If, however, both accounts are being operated by the same person, or group of people, then you need to choose one account or the other, before both accounts are blocked as being WP:SOCKPUPPETs
- Whoever, I am talking to, I have no idea what you mean by "accusing me" - who has accused you of what? You clearly admitted you were connected to the Oslo Times, so had a Conflict of interest, when you stated "I need to add photos and edit the photo captions on the Oslo Times wikipedia page. As these are photos of the exclusive interviews we have conducted".
As I clearly stated in my last reply, above "As far as I can see, no-one has accused you of being a paid contributor" - so why bring that up again?
Is it a language misunderstanding? - you do not have to be paid, to have a conflict of interest.
- Please note that I did not add the notability or advertisement templates - User:Bueller 007 added them on 17 December - I only added the COI template.
Since then, you have added lots of references, you have stated above that these are "all credible independent sources" - but they are not. Starting at the top:- This is your 3rd reference - [1] - and this is your fourth [2] - These are clearly not "credible independent sources" - you need to check all the references in your article - don't accuse others of not checking them, when you obviously haven't.
- Many of your other references are to the Oslo Times itself - which do not show notability. The basic rule is WP:42 Articles require significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Is there an article (not just a mention) in a reliable, mainstream newspaper or magazine about the Oslo Times itself ? - Not an article about something covered by the Oslo Times ? Preferably one that includes some criticism of the Oslo Times, so that it is clearly written from a WP:NPOV?
- Finally, we do not allow photos from other sources, we take copyright very seriously. However, please note that we do not want articles to be collections of images, - please see WP:NOTGALLERY - IMHO there are already enough pictures in the article. -Arjayay (talk) 15:35, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

Firstly, it seems to me like you have a problem with The Oslo Times itself, you seem to pick on anyone editing the page, the embassy of phillpines is a citation there that is independent of the Oslo times, the freedom forum, young voice forum, epoch times, daily O , to name a few are all independent credible sources which have no connection with The Oslo Times, and the citations if any are linked with are on the networks and that too I can add independent credible sources to it, so maybe instead of picking on me or anyone else who you had apparently praised or anyone who tries to edit the oslo times, looks like you are getting your enmity out on the oslo times. Also, if there are issues maybe you should help in the maintenance you put the template there AND I want the conditions to be met. Anyways I am so sick of you. You won't let me edit nor will you let anyone else edit, please do me a favor and stop picking on ppl trying to do the edits, just because you have personal issues with this page.
Also coming to the pictures, the pictures show our activities which you are trying to discredit they are all relevant to the article pictures speak a million words, similarly, if there is no limit set to how many pictures can be used who are you to tell me otherwise, I can't find a section here that tells me that you can't upload five pictures in the article. Finally, I never thought that an editor with so much experience would take his hate out on new users despite efforts of trying to meet wikipedia standards and despite asking fo help time and again you have put the page up for deletion. Meeting standards is difficult but not impossible, edits need to be done, but just putting up the page for deletion just because you have a spat with me, is really sad and discouraging, I hope all the editors on wikipedia aren't as bias and hateful like you.
Prabalta (talk) 04:39, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
- Prabalta - I suggest you look at the page history.
I did NOT put the page up for deletion, I did NOT carry out the recent deletions and I have NO "problem with The Oslo Times itself"
- I have made just 7 edits to that page - as shown here
- 2 reverts of your attempts to re-link to files already deleted by others
1 removal of a citation to Wikipedia (which are not allowed)
1 repair of your damage to the Multiple issues box
1 change to the templates - deleting the Ref improve adding the COI
2 reversals of your removal of maintenance templates.
- 2 reverts of your attempts to re-link to files already deleted by others
- I have not, therefore, removed ANY content whatsoever, nor removed ANY photos that actually existed - only links to photos that had already been deleted by others.
- Furthermore I do not "have a spat with you" - although you have consistently not read, or not understood, what I have said - I have repeatedly tried to help - for example, explaining to you how to get the Oslo times logo uploaded in the correct place, so it would not be deleted again.
I have tried to explain the Wikipedia rules which require that every subject is notable, is presented from a Neutral point of view based on reliable sources which are independant of the subject itself.
You clearly, have a conflict of interest so should not be editing the page, but suggesting changes on the article talk-page, and although you did not answer my question as to whether you are also editing as Soniyaray, or whether they are a colleague, given the edits by that account they appear to have a conflict of interest, so should not be editing the page either.
- To repeat my first line:- I suggest you look at the page history - and then come back and apologize. - Arjayay (talk) 09:14, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
about 'Temple stay' in wiki
Happy New Year, Arjayay! First of all, I would like to thank you for your monitoring efforts to keep Wikipedia trustworthy.
I am a young man who loves the Buddhist culture in Asia. That’s why I started writing in Korean Wikipedia and translated it into English and uploaded to English Wikipedia. I do understand the rules and policies of Wikipedia and so far I have tried my best to abide by them, so that none of my contents serve to advertisement of a certain person or organization.
I noticed that you undid all what I have written under the reason of “vast additions of totally unsourced material.” I used the sandbox to write the contents in full before uploading it, and maybe that makes you feel I’ve added so much at once. I just do not like messing up Wikipedia at all by frequent editing. May I ask if your concern could be eased if I include footnotes to the information I upload?
Or is it because the links I attached were the Korean news articles? I sincerely want my contents to be restored. Kindly advise me. I am very much ready to make correction and change upon your advice in detail. This will also help me do a better job for my next contribution to Wikipedia going forward. Look forward to your kind reply.
Thank you.
- Hi Sungwookchoi and thanks for your post.
- Firstly, please sign all posts on talk pages with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) which will add your signature and a timestamp
- To answer your question - my deletion was based on 2 things:- inline references and directory.
- The current article is 1511 bytes long and has 4 inline references - the article after you left it was 80,944 bytes long and only had the same 4 references - so you made the article over 50 times longer, but did not add any inline references whatsoever.
Every significant fact you add needs an inline citation - these can be in Korean, although English references are preferred. A vast list of references at the end is of no use, nobody is going to read all those references to try to find the one that refers to an individual point in the article.
Please do not worry about "messing up Wikipedia at all by frequent editing" - our servers are vast - vast enough to save every edit - including the deleted ones. If you add a lot of text all at once, and an editor disagrees with two or three parts of it, they are likely to revert the whole lot. If you add it section by section they can revert the section they disagree with and this can be discussed on the talk page.
- The second problem was the vast "List of Temples that Run Templestay Programs". Wikipedia has a specific policy Wikipedia is not a directory which states that such lists should not be added - they also appear to be a form of advertising, which is also not allowed. Please do not re-add that list.
- Having re-read your "long" article, another problem appears, it seems rather promotional - I cannot see any criticism of Temple stay, so it does not appear to be written from a neutral point of view which is required in our articles. I realize that, as you are keen to write so much about Temple Stay, you are probably a supporter/participant, so being critical is not easy, but without some criticism, another editor could easily argue that your re-written article was not neutral, and delete it again.
- Hope that helps - if you have any more questions - please ask - Arjayay (talk) 10:29, 5 January 2016 (UTC)-
Leninsky Komsomol (ship)
Good morning Dear Sir,
I intend to write article "Leninsky Komsomol (ship)" about first ship in this secie. Can be also interesting as diring Cubinian Crisis the US patrol vessels made like training-attak to this vessel and one Navy aircraft fall down into water.
Also I have already good article abot "Metallurg Anosov (shi)" in this serie and abot "Parizhskay Kommuna (shi)" in Rushian Wikipedia (my articles. I intend to translate it.
It is why is better or back the name of present article or change to "Leninsky Komsomol (serie of 25 ships)" as I will need present name for article "Leninsky Komsomol (ship)".
BRGDS Грищук ЮН (talk) 12:33, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Грищук ЮН
I am not sure I quite understand your question, and I am not an expert on ship articles
The word "Class" is usually used to describe the series of ships - please see Ship class - and the class is often named after the first ship.
An very similar American example is the Crater-class cargo ship, the first vessel of which was USS Crater (AK-70)
So your article on all the ships would be ''Leninsky Komsomol'' Class or ''Leninsky Komsomol''-class cargo ship and the article on the first ship could be ''Leninsky Komsomol'' (ship) but it would be better as ''Leninsky Komsomol'' (М-22384) or however it is normally identified.
As your account is WP:AUTOCONFIRMED you could WP:Move the existing article to whichever name you think best. If you have trouble with moving the article, please come back - and tell me what name you think it should be moved to. - Arjayay (talk) 13:21, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
Hi, Arjayay My mother language is not English. I agree to change article name to ''Leninsky Komsomol''-class of cargo ships. Only ' can be not awailable in the name of article and it will be like Leninsky Komsomol class of cargo ships. Can be also Leninsky Komsomol class of 25 cargo ships.
Any way, if You see any mistakes in my article let me know to avoid mistakers in future.
Regarding ship "Leninsky Komsomol" is better to name it with IMO number of this ship and not register number as IMO numbers are present in categories for photos (files). Like Leninsky Komsomol (ship, IMO 5206166). It is the main number for merchant ships now and I already see some article about merchant ships named like this in English Wikipwdia.
I will change serie to class if it is correct. Only for Navy ships is class and for merchant ships we say serie in Russian.
Many thanks.

Speedy deletion declined: Tony Junior
Hello Arjayay. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Tony Junior, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There's just about enough in the sources plus he's signed to a notable label, both of which are enough for CSD. Take to AfD if required. . Thank you. GedUK 12:48, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi again I just created this page [[1]] and was wondering if you could check my sources and make sure I did it right? I just don't want to risk deletion :P Thank you :) P.S. I hope I sent this rite I forgot how to lol
LakeBINNES (talk) 01:53, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi LakeBINNES - thanks for the post
If you click on the link in your post, above, you will find it leads nowhere, but from the mark-up on the edit page you clearly mean the Innes House article.
User:64.134.65.105 added several clean-up tags to your article within 7 minutes of you finishing it, including a question as to the notability of Innes House.
Unfortunately, your first reference (and third which is the same) is broken, so does not lead anywhere, but having found the actual reference [[2]] this does not prove notability, as it is not a reliable, independent source - indeed, anything on a page headed "Innes House - Weddings and Corporate Entertainment - A unique place for any occasion" is likely to be promotional. Your other references is the book we have previously discussed, as being not reliable.
You have, therefore, not met the basic criteria of any article:- All articles require significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject.
- More worryingly, almost the entire article is a copyright violation of the Innes House website, which has a clear copyright symbol at the bottom of that page, so I have had no option but to nominate it for deletion, as Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
- If you wish to re-write the article, I suggest you do it in your Sandbox, as a Draft or using the Articles for creation option, so it is not considered/criticized/deleted until you have finished. You need to find some independent reliable sources and take your facts, but not your phraseology, from them.
Provided it is Listed, grade A or B (not C) it should pass the notability test on that basis alone, as buildings of national importance are inherently notable, but you need to state that, and link to its listing description.
You also need more basic facts about the house - Where is it? (you haven't said that in your article), What architectural style is it? Why is it an important building? - and less about who lived in it. The article is, or at least should be, about the house, and Wikipedia's principal that Notability is not inherited applies to buildings as well as people. - Arjayay (talk) 12:38, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
But I didnt copy, I put what I allready knew after research then found the wbsite that gives proof, Ill just delete it because IDGAF
- LakeBINNES - It was a very clear copy - at least five sections were copied word for word - I'd say have a look at Coren-Bot's analysis, which agreed with me, but an Admin has also agreed that it was an "Unambiguous copyright infringement of http://www.inneshouse.com/ourhistory.php" and deleted it. - Arjayay (talk) 15:49, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Related to your latest changes on NTV7
Hello, When I just edited the article on NTV7 to reflect information such as channel numbers on local providers like Astro, HYPPTV and ABNxcess, but I found it somewhat very surprising when you do revert these changes and you said it totally unsourced. I know that there are excessive vandalism on Asian TV channels but I would somewhat felt so odd for that changes (such as channel numbers on local providers). In addition, this channel (and its sister channels) never broadcast in HD and 16:9 widescreen until now (about 2 AM, 13/1/2016) (UTC+8) but maybe it would start in the future. Even that, I don't know who is the person to put this kind of unsourced information. Anyway . (PotfromKP (talk) 18:08, 12 January 2016 (UTC))
- PotfromKP - There is no point in saying "thanks for warning me for this" and then repeating the same, totally unsourced, edits. Our verifiability policy requires all significant changes to be sourced to a reliable source - Arjayay (talk) 19:45, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- Anyway I will try to include the actual logical channel number source from Astro, Hypptv and ABNxcess, as requested, due to your stance of not accepting unsourced edits. (PotfromKP (talk) 19:58, 12 January 2016 (UTC))
- I actually did include the official LCN number of some of the Malaysian channels along with its providers since no unsourced content should be available based on Wikipedia Guidelines , but in fact it is a troublesome to include it because it needed some time to edit. Anyway I really thanks for your cooperation to remove vandalism over the Wikipedia over the years and you, in some degree, helped to clean the unsourced edits, especially on Asian TV stations which are prone to vandalised by some Indonesian IP's and others. (PotfromKP (talk) 20:42, 12 January 2016 (UTC))

Many infoboxes, such as Template:Infobox film and Template:Infobox album do this automatically to the page title - otherwise see Template:DISPLAYTITLE for how to use italics on all, or part of the title, and use other non-standard formats and characters. - Arjayay (talk) 11:05, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

cyberchase character
PUg appears in the episode "a recape for disaster" in season 10. please watch the episode. I'm dubious about the voice actor's name so removed it, but I believe that "xenophilius fistergraff" is a stage name for Roch Voisine, who has done voices in the show previously.
Name correction, it's recape for chaos. Little Red Ridinghood also makes her first appearance and Chef Foody and Mayor Wolfman make their second appearances.
Thanks.
I will put back the voice actor for PUg the chef back in, but if you believe that Xenophilius Fistergraff is someone else then A I don't blame you and B remove the voice actor, but not the whole kit and caboodle about pug, because he did appear in that episode, season 10 episode 2 a recape for chaos. (not disaster, lol, sorry about that.)
Thanks.

As they are using a static IP. if you think they should be blocked, you need to report them at WP:AIV
Personally, I would wait until they have ignored the fourth warning, which I gave them this morning.

- Hi Ibkib
As has already been explained to you, as you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid editing the Abdulaziz Al-Babtain article.
Instead, you should be proposing changes, including full references to reliable, independent, sources, on the talk page of the article.
Proposals to add promotional, or unsourced information, will be refused. Furthermore there is no deadline, nothing needs to be done "ASAP". - Arjayay (talk) 10:08, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks Arjayyay for your reaction. But I don't have anything to add to any "conspiracy section" I want to make the normal story more complete. Alternative vision is not necessarily a conspiracy, or as David Chandlers puts it so eloquently: “The term conspiracy theory is a way to discredit inquiry”. And I think he is right. Evidence is building that the NILST story is simply physically impossible: massive steel and concrete buildings falling with the speed of nearly free fall into itself because of fire? (never happend before) Debris shooting out hundreds of meters because of office fire? etc. etc. Physics tells us it is simply impossible. So if we want Wikipedia to be a credible source I think it has to be in line with science, not in line with mainstream American politics. So I will search on further to find ways in which the normal story will replace the fiction which has lead to such a lot of disruption in the world (Middle East, Afghanistan, Patriot Act etc. etc.)
Again: thanks for your advice, really appreciate it.

I really hate wikipedia editors who act like God here in wiki and just undo all of my edits. If the film plot is written too long would be the problem, then please edit it to meet the required lenght. But instead, maybe out of your laziness, you just undo my hardworks and claimed that the previous garbage was perfectly well written while anyone who read it can obviously see it has a lot of mistakes and inaccuracies. Do you even watch the movie, sir? The previous writing was incomplete, it did not mention all of the plot till the end of the movie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.213.43.2 (talk) 07:37, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, and FYI
Thanks for your recent corrections at spiro compound -- I cannot believe I missed such a blatant misspelling. FYI, I know the lede is long; I simply took the structure of it as it was, and corrected all the mistaken statements, adding etymology, and sources. I'd ask we leave it long until the rest of the article can be brought into line. [Right now there are discrepant statements between the lede and main body, and it is the lede that is both (largely) sourced and correct.] Cheers, Le Prof Leprof 7272 (talk) 00:35, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- P.S. We may have a differing idea of the value of tags. See my User page for more info, but I believe we owe it to our readers to be frank with the shortcomings of articles (believing it academically and intellectually dishonest to make an article tag-free, and so to look good, when it is, in fact, possibly plagiarised, at least poorly sourced, non-authoritative in structure or scope, etc. etc.). When an article violates our policies, we should say so, clearly and boldly. Cheers again, Le Prof Leprof 7272 (talk) 00:38, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

- Hi Sul59
- Please read that warning notice carefully - it states "Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia" We have had several accounts from the "abdulaziz al-babtain group", including yours, and this appears to be a coordinated effort to promote the group on Wikipedia.
- As has been repeatedly explained (further up on this page, at Talk:Abdulaziz Al-Babtain, at User talk:Ibkib, at User talk:Ibrahimaldawoud), anybody connected to Abdulaziz Al-Babtain, his group, his foundation, or in any other way, has a conflict of interest so should NOT be editing the page themselves. Moreover, most of the additions that have been repeatedly added are not sourced to reliable independent sources, are promotional in tone, rather than from a neutral point of view, and are not encyclopedic, so are not suitable for inclusion in one of our articles.
- If you wish to suggest small, encyclopedic, additions, in a non-promotional tone, please suggest these at Talk:Abdulaziz Al-Babtain citing reliable independent sources (not things published by, or in anyway connected to, the group, but truly independent) the to support each point you want added. These will then be considered by a neutral editor, who will decide if they should be added to the article, or not.
- Please note, we are looking for quality, not quantity, and our articles are Not resumes, or Curriculum vitae, nor a means of promotion. We do not want, and will not add, long lists of "Accolades", "Awards", "Tributes" or other non-encyclopedic material, which members of the group have repeatedly tried to add.
- Please try to understand, this is not Abdulaziz Al-Babtain's page, but Wikipedia's page about Abdulaziz Al-Babtain - so will also include any valid criticism, as long as that is sourced to similar reliable independent sources. - Arjayay (talk) 08:50, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- In order to keep all the conversation central, please reply at Talk:Abdulaziz Al-Babtain, where I will be copying the above thread. - Arjayay (talk) 08:52, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
Further help on DOB post you responded to..
I would love your help on this issue I posted about. Below you'll see the convo so far. I am not a code person so I can't figure my way around Wikipedia. How do I find the person who posted it so I can ask them to take it down? And how do I respectfully make the request? Please help me :)
Hi-
I am a voice actor and a page was created for me on Wikipedia. First off, I'm so flattered and grateful that people I don't know thought me noteworthy enough to make a page about me. And I would be happy to help add to it, though I am not familiar with coding. One thing I would prefer not to have published is my birth date and age. I try to keep that information non public as it can effect my career opportunities. Is it possible to have some one help me to remove it? Or direct me to some one who can? I'm happy to verify that I am indeed me if you'd let me know the best way to accomplish that. The page is for Carrie Keranen. And I'm her :)
I appreciate all your help.
Sincerely, Carrie Keranen CareBearFinn (talk) 20:26, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
I have removed it. The sourcing was not appropriate for the personal information. -- GB fan 20:46, 3 January 2016 (UTC) It's been put back; with a note by the editor concerned that DoB is sourced. However, one source mentions Facebook and the other seems to be a free local-paper. Eagleash (talk) 21:45, 3 January 2016 (UTC) Please see WP:DOB "Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object. If the subject complains about the inclusion of the date of birth, or the person is borderline notable, err on the side of caution and simply list the year." - Arjayay (talk) 21:50, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
CareBearFinn (talk) 23:46, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi CareBearFinn
- I see User:AngusWOOF, who had added it back, removed your DoB earlier today, in this edit. I have now removed the "Category:1976 births" from the bottom of the page.
I am not quite clear if that is all you were asking? if not, please explain further. I will watch the page for a month or two, in case your DoB is re-added. - Arjayay (talk) 15:14, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
Thank you so much!!!!!
Really, I can't thank you enough for helping me with this!

Semi-detached contributions.
Hi, great to have someone else showing an interest. I see that this is your first visit to this page. Have you read the Talk:Semi-detached page yet where a discussion is taking place. The POV is not mine and is I think correctly reference to a 1986 comment on Victorian society. If John Burnetts POV has triggered some bot or other please feel free to strike out that paragraph- if really isn't that important as it probably won't make the final cut. We just need a suscinct way of differentiating between 'repellent' Victorian middle class attitudes and those of the working class- please suggest a better way. I don't see haw a multi-edit reversion advances the article- particularly as it re-introduces errors and removes the references.
Can you leave comments on the talk page- so we can keep the discussion together.
I will proceed by commenting out the paragraphs I believe are controversial and restore the text. I need then to reference the 20th century section and put some intro text to the Australian and Canadian to tie this into the new body.-- Clem Rutter (talk) 18:40, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Do you think you can unlock the list of "The Haunting Hour" episodes? There are major grammar and spelling errors which need fixing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.83.60.230 (talk) 15:24, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
- You have not stated, but I assume you are referring to List of R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour episodes ?
This was protected on 17 Dec 2012, after a lot of vandalism, however, it has only had one edit in 2016, and 11 in 2015, so interest in the page appears to have waned.
I cannot "unlock" the page, but suggest you apply at WP:Requests for page protection#Current requests for edits to a protected page and explain what is wrong - Arjayay (talk) 15:50, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
Yes that was the page
I can't edit it because my account has been banned. There are a lot of typos. One episode "Wrong number" needs major fixing: the first summary is what's already up, the second one is what it should be.
--What's already up--
The two meanest girls at school named Steffani (Debby Ryan) and Taylor (Sarah Dugdale) are known to make fun of Adriana (Kacey Rohl). Steffani and Taylor then prank call the next door neighbor Mrs. Biazevich (Karin Konoval). Mrs. Biazevich warns them to be nice girls and dies the next day. Steffani starts receiving text messages telling her to be a nice girl from Mrs. Biazevich's phone. Steffani and Taylor went to ask Constantine (Andrew Kavadas) for help in order to get rid of Mrs. Biazevich's ghost (who continues to haunt them for being mean girls). Constantine then gave the girls leaves to spread around the room to protect them from the ghost. Once Steffani and Taylor spread the leaves around the room, the plan backfired when the leaves only attracted Mrs. Biazevich's ghost and attack the girls where she sees that Steffani is still very mean. Mrs. Biazevich lets Taylor go because she can see good in her heart, but traps Steffani in a video in her cellphone and sends it to her granddaughter Adriana (who was also in cahoots with Constantine). As the episode ends, Adriana deletes the video of Steffani effectively erasing her from existence and saying that "she will not ever mess with her again".

Hello, there have been some vandalism activity happening on this page. Check media reports for more. This needs to be protected. --Abhinav619 (talk) 12:47, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Abhinav619
There was some vandalism, which you have now reverted - articles are only normally protected if the vandalism is frequent and repeated - if you apply for protection now, it is very unlikely to be granted.
If the vandalism happens again then apply at WP:Requests for page protection - Putting a blank semi-protected edit request on the talk page, as you did, achieves nothing.
I have added the page to my watchlist, so we can both watch it. - Arjayay (talk) 13:13, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

Confess (band)
Hi, no worries, thanks for sorting out Confess (band). I was reluctant to delete all the material because I am conscious that some of the band members are in prison with a possible death sentence, just for playing Heavy Metal.
I checked out WhoIs on the IP address of the edits, and they seem to be coming from a mobile device within Iran itself, perhaps from someone associated with the band, and a non-native English speaker. If they try adding material back in again, I will try and make the flow more coherent. Cheers MatthewTStone (talk) 20:20, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

Chemtrails page
To whom it may concern,
The Chemtrails page is a very large disservice to the earth and every living person. By actively protecting the page you are creating a karma for yourself that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
First problem is it seems to be the editors decision as to what a Chemtrail is and a result of this person "personal" definition it's a conspiracy. This person has created a definition that can "NEVER" escape that conspiracy definition. Then at the very top of the article on Wikipedia it shows a contrail and labels it as a contrail, this page is a out Chemtraiks and in no way about con trails. So the title has the word conspiracy and the first pic shows a con trail... This is control of the media, when a concerned citizen looks up Chemtrail the first result on Google is Wikipedia and the first thing Wikipedia says is, conspiracy, look at this contrail.
This is NOT what Wikipedia is supposed to stand for!
Abc news announced last month, and even took an ad out in the star tribune in LA stating their notice of intent... That they were spraying silver iodide into the clouds, silver iodide is a chemical and it leaves a trail. It is not condensation and it is not a conspiracy. This is just 1 example of how badly this page is being edited and held back by people who are assisting with the deception.
So to the editor of this page, I ask for you to stand up and be a true human and let's let Wikipedia not turn corrupt, I live in the dessert and I have years and years of photos of low level flights, right over my house, that spread out and do not dissipate ALL day.
I have also been active duty USAF in Las Vegas and held 2nd highest clearance and can testify what we are seeing is _not_ normal or condensation, and is not conspiracy.
Wikipedia has a gotten a lot of heat, I think sometimes all of the volunteers take it personal... We don't want to send hate energy towards you, but we don't want you to react as though your doing something wrong to share truth, honestly millions are being exposed whether you want it to be true or not, do you really want to go to your death bed being a part of a coverup that spayed even the redwoods to death.... Please there are billions of people on this planet, take your editing a bit more serious, it's not a joke, or conspiracy.
As far as my belief is concerned, editors of any page that suppress life and truth are storing up a lot of bad bad karma!! (I'm also mentally focusing daily in sending it their way) just being honest ... I'm being sprayed and your protecting their secret.
Please do your part and fix this page, I'm glad to provide patents, lab tests, certified testimony and more.... All I'm asking is for you editors to be honest and allow the truth out. Quit rigging the page to hide the truth, please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1011:B043:DD7E:DD6D:79A6:7C0F:B020 (talk) 21:42, 14 March 2016 (UTC)

Tom Colontonio Article
My Apologies about the Tom Colontonio Article. I am a noob at this and trying to update it. I see that its a proposed deletion and wouldn't want that to happen. I will read all the guidlines and try to correct all issues and seek help.

- Hi Brenda Jenning
Firstly:- Please sign all posts on talk pages with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) which will add your signature and a timestamp
Secondly:- You are not a "Noob" you have been editing Wikipedia for over 5 years.
Thirdly:- the Tom Colontonio article is not "a proposed deletion" it was proposed on 14 February 2011 (over 5 years ago) and the proposal was withdrawn the same day
Finally:- looking at your edit history, in over 5 years you have only edited articles directly relating to Tom Colontonio, so it appears you have a conflict of interest.
Please read, and follow our guidance on editing with a conflict of interest here. I will add a template to your talk page explaining this in greater detail - Arjayay (talk) 15:14, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
Jotaro Kujo on the list of Marine Biologists again.
Someone is adding Jotaro Kujo to the list and thinks they are funny. It keeps happening. I've edited it offline 2 times today from my phone and my computer. Is there something we could do about this?
IRLollerCoat (talk) 00:10, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hi IRLollerCoat thanks for your post, but as I am on UTC it arrived just after midnight, so didn't see it until just now.
In the meantime, the page has been semi-protected for 3 years (the longest we normally protect a page), so only Autoconfirmed users will be able to edit it.
This will, at least, slow the vandals down and make them easier to block. I have added the page to my watch-list - Arjayay (talk) 11:11, 19 March 2016 (UTC)

Instead of cn template, I think it's better to calculate total population. It seems many articles used it. --Zyma (talk) 04:39, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Zyma, thanks for your message - but how could you "calculate it"?
The list in that infobox only includes 13 countries - whereas there are 206 "sovereign states" - so how do you include the other 193 countries without original research?
I think we need a reliable source even for such a round estimate - what happens in other articles is, of course, totally irrelevant as other stuff exists. - Arjayay (talk) 11:16, 10 April 2016 (UTC)

April 2016
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clinician, you may be blocked from editing. When someone takes the time to add content, you prune, you do not wholesale delete UNLESS you can falsify the content. Are you even active within the health professions? Do you even know the field? Many statements I put in would not be challenged by an active, practising HCP, although some of the specific examples should be referenced, granted. Yet why delete unless the content fails the Poperian criterion - YOU falsify it - instead of trying to see if you can further expand the article by tweaking and putting in refs yourself, or refs to the contrary if you are so cocksure that it's incorrect? By so doing - really falsifying, not randomly 'patrolling' and undoing valuable time someone put in, without you making any REAL or actual contribution? If you did that, and did the research, you could both verify what is true in the article (expand the refs) and prune (falsify) what does not stand up to scrutiny, and in so doing, you will likely even be able to further expand the article based on the falsified info you can now replace with better qualified revisions. What you are doing - patrolling and taking out content that you ostensibly know nothing about as it's outside your field, even if the user did not have the time to put in refs - is violating the Poperian criterion: it is ON YOU to falsify, NOT ON ME to verify. Science does not work that way: take your simple logic lesson. I can show you swan after swan that is white, verifying my claim that all swans are white, yet if you show me a single swan that's black, my whole theory comes crumbling down: there is no verified truth, only statements that have not yet been falsified. I can cite however many resources I want in favour of backing up something, yet a single citation to the contrary and it matters not that I have a million white swan sightings to back up my hypothesis. There are some epistemological problems with falsification, so we commonly use a mixed bag of techniques, including both verification, falsification, discussion, logic, argument, etc, to gauge degrees of likelihood, truth and controversy. By all means, wade in using these tools, but a simple delete without good evidence (clear falsification) and without you making any contribution whatsoever except saying 'long rev, no refs, hit DEL!!1' deprives other users of making use of the material provided by me (or any others) to seed and expand the article. You undid an hour of volunteered work by a healthcare professional to revert an article flagged up as poor and a stub to its original impoverished state. Congratulations - now who's the real 'vandal'? Also, it's desert, not dessert, unless you live in a chocolate sundae - I would have expected someone so outspokenly fixated on correct spelling would know that. What you SHOULD know is that spelling and grammar is secondary to content and ideas. If all you can do is correct misspelt words, you're really making zero contribution as far as pushing the boundaries of science and knowledge is concerned. In other words: nobody cares. Try and make a REAL contribution by expanding content in fields that matter, and stick to your own turf: if you know nothing about healthcare, leave the editing of health related articles to the medicine editors. You are not helping as a 'general patrol', since you can't tell what most HCPs would take for granted ('uncontroversial': if you disagree, state why, provide your own refs, but DON'T JUST DELETE) and hence not reference. I invite you to complete the article by putting the relevant refs in YOURSELF. I am happy to do so if you cannot. You are not helping wikipedia by looking only at form, without content expertise. We can easily do form via machine validation and templates: you contribute nothing a computer cannot do. Now, adding content -- that's where you become an asset to the community, since this is what computers cannot do. Also, think about it: being an editor means revising and improving, not simply deleting - what you're doing can be seen as stifling free speech you have not actually demonstrated to be wrong in a misguided attempt to do things by the book. You should rethink your priorities, then act accordingly. Try not to go in the direction of much ado about nothing. Nathaniel K Drake (talk) 18:49, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Nathaniel K Drake; it appears that you do not understand how Wikipedia works.
I am not "Disrupting" or "vandalizing" the encyclopedia by deleting unsourced material , YOU are "Disrupting" and "vandalizing" the encyclopedia by adding unsourced material. I do not need to "falsify" anything in order to remove it, you need to "prove" it, in order to add it.
- The specific policy, (please note it is it is not just a guideline, bur a strict policy) is at Wikipedia:Verifiability in particular WP:BURDEN:-
- "All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing a citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution." (the bold is in the policy not my additional emphasis)
- I have therefore, in accordance with policy, deleted the unsourced material again - please do not re-add it without proper references, or you may be blocked from editing - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 07:50, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
