Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Ariannajones23, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:04, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Ariannajones23. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Arianna Jones, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Lord Belbury (talk) 09:02, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Please stop the self-promotion, or I will block you. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:05, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for message. You say that you are not her, but you are using her name and have only edited about her. You have an obvious conflict of interest, which you must clarify. Please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below:
- When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
- None of your refs is an independent third-party source, they are self-editable except for NYU which is an interview with her friend.
- It's difficult to see how she meets the notability criteria I've linked above. Minor roles in films and a local municipal award aren't sufficient,not every aspiring actor is notable enough for a Wikipedia article.
- You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews. Opinions presented as facts include Arianna uses her art as a medium to educate others and to share insight on a variety of social and political topics which are not often acknowledged or go unrecognized in conversations regarding injustice and inequality in the United States and around the world... her love for performing and entertaining grew stronger... Arianna then dedicated herself to using her skills and knowledge... Arianna’s passion for performing... and so on. An I note that you use her first name throughout, which isn't exactly encyclopaedic.
- There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. You have multiple links to IMDB, link only to Wikipedia articles about the films if an article exists, otherwise just leave as the name.
- You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
- I didn't check the text, but the images are clearly not made by her, and I see they have all been nominated for deletion as copyright violations
Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:03, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]We are not interested in what people say about themselves, so interviews are not normally acceptable as sources. That's the case even when they are in print, where we can at least verify what was said, you reporting what you claim she said to you is even more problematic.We are not interested in people's hopes, ambitions, interests or opinions, we need verifiable facts.
Every day we get dozens of would-be singers, actors, writers and similar trying to post their profiles here. At least Arianna has done paid work, unlike many ,but that isn't enough to establish notability as defined above, What you need is coverage (not interviews or reviews) in serious outlets like the Washington Post, NYT or a major industry publication, or a significant national or international award. I'm afraid that information she has shared with you, or anyone else for that matter has no value as a proper source. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:46, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
