Amanda Rhyne “Impetigo” After analyzing over the “Impetigo” article, I concluded there were various sections that lacked significant information necessary to improve reader comprehension. Conversely, I also observed some information to be a bit irrelevant to the article altogether. I fully support your additions to the article in the fact that I, too, believe the article to be lacking information regarding the topic of infection prevention and available methods to decrease transmission. Although there is brief descriptions to both topics, I feel that an expansion on both topics would be, overall, beneficial to readers. One topic that initially caught my attention was the “Alternative Medicine” section header. The specific header describes that, due to insufficient evidence, no sources of alternative medicine could be advised, and then proceeded to provide examples of alternative medicinal ingredients. Personally, in this case, I questioned the factor of relevance. If there is not sufficient evidence for alternative sources of medication, should the topic even be presented in the article? Furthermore, what is the need to list examples of medicinal alternatives, if there are none available in this given situation? I would choose to discard the section entirely. In regards to grammatical or sentence structure errors, I was unable to find any apparent misuses. Ultimately, I concluded the “Imetigo” article, despite the issues addressed, to be an overall informative article. Jakep15 (talk) 02:34, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
