Waco Jesus
[edit]I was wondering if you could help me write an article on the band Waco Jesus. I was pretty impressed with your work with Hatebeak and thought you might like the chance to work on an article from another awesome band. Any help would be appreciated. -- S h a r k f a c e 2 1 7 21:05, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oops, was a little busy with real life. Of course I'd be willing to help write and source an article-—arf! 15:09, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Locopops, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. My RfA
[edit]Dear Arf!, thanks for your support in my recent RfA, it was, however, unsuccessful. I am not the type of editor to be disheartened by such a result, and have gained much experience. If you have anything to contribute by way of improvements or comments, please don’t hesitate to tell me.
I will run again. Until then, Cheers, Dfrg.msc 08:34, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
RfA Thanks
[edit]Thanks... | ||
Thank you for showing your support in my recent RfA. Unfortunately, consensus was not really going my way, so I decided to withdraw my self-nomination last night. The final vote tally was (15/7/10). Your support does mean a lot to me, and I will certainly let you know when I go for my next RfA, most likely in a few month's time. Thank you again, and happy editing! Looking for something to do? WikiProject Furry is improving articles on furry and anthropomorphic topics, and we'd like to have you on board.
Our current goal is to raise Anthrocon, furry convention and furry fandom to good article status and beyond - but if that doesn't take your fancy, there are plenty of other articles to work on. Give it a go and let us know how you're doing! You recieved this one-time invitation because you are a Furry Wikipedian. GreenReaper 22:27, 28 July 2007 (UTC) |
Another Return
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Another Return, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Another Return. Notability of Butcher ABC
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Butcher ABC, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Butcher ABC seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Butcher ABC, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 03:50, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Arf!! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 51 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Daniel Tucker (musician) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Dave Suzuki - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 21:51, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Still Cool
[edit]Hello, I got your message, so I would like to know what from my article was "combative" ? I wrote only straight facts and deleted false and untrue informations. The only thing that may be a little combative was the sentence about user creating the title - but it's also true - I guess this person has big imagionation. The user who created the page, also created many other fake articles related to music group TLC and each members and untill Wiki deletes it, I wanna edit false informations. 109.231.43.72 (talk) 11:26, 17 May 2011 (UTC) AA
