Achtung! I should put a spring-related image in here!

Too much work for the wiki during this season. --Ardonik.talk()* July 2, 2005 22:18 (UTC)

The eating of cats

[edit]

I noticed you use alpha-3 as the language codes. I would recommend using the two-letter codes for the languages that do have it since they are the most common.

I stuck with the Alpha-3 codes from ISO 639 simply because there were more of them--the Alpha-2 codes are entirely missing for many languages, like Cherokee, ancient Egyptian, and Filipino. --Ardonik.talk()* 04:21, Apr 4, 2005 (UTC)

I also attempted my own inerpretation of the German translation, but I won't guarantee that Germans agree with it. If a native German opposes it, just switch to the old "gegessen"-version and I'll make a new recording.

Enjoy the pronunciation files! Peter Isotalo 13:14, Apr 2, 2005 (UTC)

Wow, thanks very much for these! The sound files are great--better than anything I had hoped for--but I still like the English "pseudo-transliterations." Does it really have to be just one or the other? Why not offer both? --Ardonik.talk()* 04:21, Apr 4, 2005 (UTC)
