Hello there. I would like to answer your question about Randal Flagg and him also being named Nyarlathotep. I don't think anyone else has called him that except Glen when they were about to get arrested entering the desert. He names Nyarlathotep along with other names of beings who aren't the devil but is his messenger like Avatar. I'm sure King was referring to that we know Nyarlatho can take human form and how RF would be a perfect example of that. I hope this answers your question. Your friend, Bornmedicated on YouTube

License tagging for Image:Nesebar walls.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Nesebar walls.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:07, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Through the Never

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Through the Never requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Vassyana (talk) 21:27, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated 100 Greatest Villains (Wizard magazine), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/100 Greatest Villains (Wizard magazine) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 22:29, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, sorry for the delay in getting a message out. The project is slowly reorganizing. The Project page is a bit out of date and needs updating badly. Please check the talk page for more current information and please Tag, Tag, Tag, the talk pages of any article in this topic so we can start trying to coordinate work on articles and give us some suggestions on the talk page for how we can get this Project moving again. Currently there are hundreds of related articles that are not tagged yet. Thanks and again, welcome!--Doug.(talk contribs) 03:29, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Scale enigmatica

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Scale enigmatica requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Tdh5609 (talk) 16:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Italics

[edit]

I was under the impression that all stories go with italics, and in one of your edits to The Jaunt (short story), you said this was not so. I would like to make up my mistakes, as I added italics to a lot of short story articles, and I do not want to make a fool of myself by ignoring what may be the correct format. Could you tell me where it says that we are not supposed to italics for short stories? --MwNNrules (talk) 17:21, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your responce, I'll get back to correcting the articles. --MwNNrules (talk) 18:30, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of The God That Failed (song)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The God That Failed (song), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of The God That Failed (song)

[edit]

I have nominated The God That Failed (song), an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The God That Failed (song). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. My pleasure, ArdClose. I love researching and learning, so the saving of someone else's article comes as an extra-added bonus. But after two years of this, the over all "less is more" Wiki-zeitgeist has got to me, and I've thrown in the towel. Sometimes-- as in building an encylopedia, for example-- less is actually less. I got lucky (I really know absolutely nothing about Metallica) and found that essay, so the article survives on a technicality... until the next AfD trial... But why shouldn't we have an article on every song by a major band, just because, it's a song by a major band? Any information we can put together on it would be interesting, useful and... encyclopedic... But the Wiki-rules say no, "interesting" and "useful" are bad... My thoughts are that the purpose of an encyclopedia is to build up articles, not rules. Anyway, I've run around screaming about this kind of thing long enough, to no avail, and have retired to an off-Wiki research project. But do let me know if an anti-Deletionism rebellion ever gets started, I'll be happy to join in. Cheers! Dekkappai (talk) 19:17, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, ArdClose... took me a while to figure out what that note was in reference to :) Right-- an encyclopaedia of "the sum of human knowledge"... that's the line that lured me into contributing here. Unfortunately, the "if I haven't heard of it, it's not notable" crowd seems to have the upper hand these days... Regards. Dekkappai (talk) 22:42, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Nam Yang Pugilistic Association. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nam Yang Pugilistic Association. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Phalaris, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Phoenician. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
