To Arbor8, you undid comprehensive, sourced revisions to the Anthony Portantino page that reverted the page to a state of unsourced, unverified bio/promotional status, that appeared self-serving and self-published. Current page is well cited and accurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edizo2 (talkcontribs) 23:42, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

BingNorton/Corbridge

[edit]

Hi, Arbor8. Is BingNorton a Corbridge ("comment@ry of a Wikipedian") sock? I noticed that BingNorton is the sockma--primary account of a dickish editor ExclusiveAgent (subsequently blocked) that had accused me of being another editor's sockpuppet in May 2013 (more here). BingNorton has been policing the Ted Cruz talk page (and many others), taking the place of ExclusiveAgent (and many others). I was 75.111.xx.xxx on that page before I was run off (and, incidentally, right on Cruz).--75.111.78.220 (talk) 11:33, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, I'm certain they are all the same person. I flagged it for User:Alison, the admin who blocked ExclusiveAgent but I don't think anyone has opened a new SPI. Arbor8 (talk) 21:15, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
BingNorton (talk · contribs) was definitely the  Confirmed master account behind ExclusiveAgent (talk · contribs), amongst others. I'm not sure of the connection to Corbridge, as I wasn't aware of it up till now but I see that ExclusiveAgent and Corbridge seem to have very much the same modus operandi. Furthermore, there's additional technical evidence on that page that would push it into being highly  Likely that BingNorton (talk · contribs) is a sock of Corbridge (talk · contribs) - Alison 21:38, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know. My most recent Corbridge SPI (adding ExclusiveAgent to the list) was "closed without prejudice", unfortunately. Arbor8 (talk) 18:41, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
