External links?

[edit]

I do not know what you are talking about in my user talk section. I did not added any external links. What I did, was to deleat "Tom Storvik" from the squad list. Tom Storvik has never playd for Rosenborg, I do not even know if there is a footballer called Tom Storvik. When you deleted my changes, "Tom Storvik" was back in the squad list. If you think you improved the site about Rosenbork B.K., that is O.K., but you actually did the opposite. I do not know what external link you think I added, I do not know why you think I added it, and I do not think you deleted any external link. Sincerely, 80.213.178.98 16:20, 01 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. To be perfectly honest with you, I do not have any recollection of reverting your edit. As I'm looking at it now, it seems like a perfectly normal edit. Please accept my sincerest apologies! Regards, Aquatics Guard Alert 01:47, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nicer warning?

[edit]

I see you are using a tool to watch for vandalism. Is there a button that will leave a {{selftest}} rather than something else like uw-vandalism1. I'm nattering on about this. I saw someone else do similarly today, where the anon IP tested the proposition "you really can edit?", and then quickly reversed themselves. Only not quickly enough to avoid a nasty message.

Since I don't use the tools, and therefore go slower, I often see these "can I really?" tests and change back. I try to favor selftest, then uw-test1, and only if blatantly offensive go for the big guns. Can you check what options you have with that tool? Shenme 22:33, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do use a tool to watch for vandalism. It isn't automated, as I have to screen each edit for vandalism (or the like) before I revert and leave an appropriate message. Since I do have to screen before I revert and leave the message, I would be able to see the "can I really?" tests and leave the test warning instead of the vandalism warning. However, I can not say that I have come across any of the "can I really?" tests when doing vandalism checks. I've seen the occasional "hi" and "yo", which have received a test warning, but no "can I really?" messages have appeared as of yet.
I will certainly keep a look out for any "can I really?" edits and be sure to leave them a test warning instead of a vandalism warning.
As to your question of the options that I have, I am able to apply any applicable warning related to reverting. Aquatics Guard Alert 22:58, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agrajag vandalism

[edit]

That was not "vamdalism" or "nonsense". I was simply trying to clarify what the previous writer meant by "suitable voice treatment". It's from the radio scripts book, and, as far as I know, it's true. Sincerely, 199.126.161.143 00:15, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. Note left on your page. Aquatics Guard Alert 00:27, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've asked for a deletion review of List of Philippine Presidents by longevity. Since you participated in the deletion discussion for this article, you might want to participate in the deletion review. -Fagles 20:31, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Slave hack

[edit]

Hello,

Recently I noticed that an article Slave hack was deleted because there were no third party sources.

I've recently, however, found this: [1] from PC gamers UK. Do you have any suggestions? Would that be good enough to satisfy notability? Perhaps something to start a deletion review? Please respond on my talk page. Aquatics Guard Alert 03:05, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds reasonable, worth a shot! - CHAIRBOY () 03:25, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks & Request

[edit]

Thanks for userfying Slave hack to my user page, it's appreciated. Aquatics Guard Alert 23:58, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm also wondering if it'd be possible to get another deleted page userfied over to me for an overhaul? It was called RPG World Online back when it existed. If you could, that'd be great. Aquatics Guard Alert 00:27, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, no prob. It's at User:Aquatics/RPG World Online. Remember, if it's reposted in anything like its current form, it will be deleted on sight. - CHAIRBOY () 00:42, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I am aware. Definite overhaul needed. Thanks for your help! Aquatics Guard Alert 00:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. 3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
