Amazing Race pages

I'm mentioning this to you because I saw your edits at The Amazing Race 18 and I've seen your edits on other pages.

I believe that your grasp of the English language is not strong enough to write the prose necessary for these articles. It's good that you get all the information we need, but your grammatical skills are not very good. I am currently fixing up The Amazing Race 13. I don't know if you made all these grammatical errors ([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Amazing_Race_13&diff=279070490&oldid=279067892 this one was you though) and awkward phrasing that I'm finding, but I'm just telling you that in the future it would be better if you did not write out the task descriptions.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 01:50, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

I declined your speedy deletion tag of this article. You tagged it as A3, which says, "Any article (other than disambiguation pages, redirects, or soft redirects) consisting only of external links, category tags and "see also" sections, a rephrasing of the title, attempts to correspond with the person or group named by its title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, chat-like comments, template tags, and/or images." This article contained a good chunk of text, making this tag inappropriate for that page. GorillaWarfare talkcontribs 07:57, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Alright, I have converted it to WP:PROD and its tag on its date and will expire by 7 days time. ApprenticeFan work 07:59, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

I declined your prod, because it is too soon. There's enough for now. Send it to WP:AfD if you must. Bearian (talk) 02:05, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Channel [V] Philippines

While I am a US resident, Channel [V] Philippines is on my watchlist because I rather recently completed an overhaul of the article's prose. From reading recent additions to the article, I see that the channel has gone off the air and off SkyCable (which seems to be a major loss). It also mentions a major executive being jailed in Hong Kong and that it recently returned through something called Global Destiny Cable.

I have very little understanding of what has gone on. Can you assist me? Raymie (tc) 02:28, 5 May 2011 (UTC)

X Factor US

Paula hasn't been confirmed. No official announcement has been made by Fox yet, so leave it alone until then please. 1Dbad (talk) 16:12, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

First of all, she is officially announced on the show and has multiple news sources: [1], [2], [3], [4].
And so, only four of these sources above are confirmed. ApprenticeFan work 23:13, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
She's definitely a judge. See the official twitter for The X Factor... http://twitter.com/TheXFactorUSAanemoneprojectors00:00, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Elimination tables.

I'm curious as to the reason for the deletion of the Elimination table in ANTM 16. I think it may be a useful concept. Is the information already in the format elsewhere in the article? Yes, I take what antmgenuine creates with a grain of salt, but this one seems OK.Naraht (talk) 14:59, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Well, yes. antmgenuine created the chart and its actually duplicate than the standard elimination table. I guess you block this user, right? ApprenticeFan work 15:02, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
That's just it, the two tables present the information in two different ways. The one that you left there was by call out order, so that row 3 is who had the third best picture week, ANTMgenuines' table is by person, so that that row 3 is the results each week for the person who ultimately ended up third. ANTMgenuines's is actually closer to the way things are done on some other reality shows. At *worst* which table (or both) to use should be discussed on the talk page.Naraht (talk) 15:18, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
I guess you should give the user a warning when creating the second chart again. It's unnecessary to add there. ApprenticeFan work 15:21, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Why do oppose this table so much, it presents things in another (perhaps superior) method.Naraht (talk) 15:30, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Agreed. If this user adds the unnecessary chart again, report it to WP:ANI or WP:AN3 to concur on edit safety. Be patience to it. ApprenticeFan work 15:34, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

TARAus

If you are going to write the article, please remember to write up entries for the Roadblocks and Detours.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 17:45, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the notice, I had not added the Under construction template. Next time, I will add this for The Amazing Race Australia article in every leg for every episode. ApprenticeFan work 23:53, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Amazing Race episode titles

TAR18 is the only race that had the next location's name in the episode title. Do not add this for previous seasons.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 21:52, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Simply enough, I had checked the CBS website ages ago, and there's only a location in previous TAR episodes (Seasons 14-17). Not realized to take a reliable source. ApprenticeFan work 23:58, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for your work on this article. Would you take a look at the talk page and review the consensus regarding styling of the contestant progress sections? I am already at 3RR for the day and individual editors have come in and re-instituted the Rainbow of statuses footnotes. If you would remove the extra colors that would be wonderful. Hasteur (talk) 13:34, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

Wow, you are a good editor on doing for Hell's Kitchen (U.S.) season articles, seasons 7 and 8 have extra colors in contestant progress chart, it was done by IP editors. Can you remove it? ApprenticeFan work 01:42, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

TARAus

Please do not omit leg summaries when you update the page.Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:29, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Let me just clarify, I don't have a fast enough internet to download the episodes and watch them myself, and I am also based in the United States. I am only using blogs that have bare bones descriptions of what happened and they do not mention specific place names. Please look over what I have written for the Sri Lanka leg, because I copied and pasted stuff from TARA4 to fill in any blanks that the blogs left out.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:28, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for reverting the changes in styling that the IP address made. I dropped a hand crafted warning (Level 2) on their talk page to remind them not to do that without discussing first. If you could keep an eye on their talk page, I'm willing to bet that they blank the warning (which is their right to do) and we'll have to go to Administrative Intervention against Vandalism with this account. I recognize the stubbornness that will probably escalate into a full on extended block regieme for the IP address.

TAR19

Please try to not copy text word for word from the sources you use.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:51, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

I meant this source?, it is now including Southern California as the starting line and tasks in Indonesia and Thailand. ApprenticeFan work 03:53, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
You still copied a lot of it word for word, which is not allowed.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 05:03, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

America's Next Top Model

Vietnam's Next Top Model

I need your help with VNNTM 1 and need a serious discussion about semifinallists. I've sent some messages to User:Shameless, but didn't receive any responses. I am a little bit confused right now about Top 16-18 last year because I just watched ep 2 (Hanoi Casting day) and ep 3 (Regions Meeting) again and discovered that the narrator mentioned (in few seconds) chosen Top 18 girls was actually semifinallists, not finallists as heavily promoted by media. Moreover, Top 15 finallists didn't have a promo group shot(!!) we just have Top 18 (including semifinallists) and Top 13 (excluding 2 finallists) promos, shockingly Bích Trâm and Quý Dung (semifinallists) still stuck with the show on grand finale catwalk. On the whole, semifinallists B.Trâm and Q.Dung got all the advantages of finallists (!?); thereby, they should be really considered in COO (??). TanPhat Nguyen talk- -contrb 03:38, 11 September 2011 (UTC).

OK. Done. ApprenticeFan work 04:42, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
No man, I don't ask you to delete them in COO. I ask for advice if there are people in the same cases (who is semifinallists, but have advantages of finallists), then they should or should not be listed in COO. I want to make this problem clear because Shameless and I undid what each of us has edited in the article (and VNNTM 2 in the future). It's very annoying and time-consuming. So sorry if I can't convey my ideas to make you understand, my english is not so good. TanPhat Nguyen talk- -contrb 10:07, 11 September 2011 (UTC).

Amber DePace

Seems to me that Amber DePace is a finalist--Rudi argento (talk) 10:58, 17 September 2011 (UTC).

Usually it does not meet notability and it does need second-party reliable sources to add. There are 48,100 search terms in Google and does not have real sources. ApprenticeFan work 09:58, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

"Thank you" for the removal of the article. I'm an hour bent, translated from Russian into English, added references, a request to delete all 5-year-old. :-@ KIRILL95 (talk) 13:53, 26 September 2011 (UTC)

ProcseeBot only blocked this single IP very recently at 18:40, 22 October 2011. If you have to edit via this proxy, then I would suggest apply for WP:IPBE  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:10, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
...with a very good reason why you need to use this proxy rather than another means of accessing Wikipedia. Hersfold (t/a/c) 23:29, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
ApprenticeFan, assuming you're still editing from the Philippines, and not deliberately using an open proxy, you can probably bypass this block, if you encounter it again, by using the HTTPS version of the site https://en.wikipedia.org. I've disabled your unblock request as you seem to be editing again. However post it back up if you find yourself unable to edit again. -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:05, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

I have proposed a de-disambiguation solution at Talk:Karate Kid. Please provide your thoughts. Cheers! bd2412 T 21:47, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi. In The Bachelorette (season 6), you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Tango (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.
