Feedback

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! The AfC process is only to be used for creating new articles, so I removed the submission from the reviewing queue. If you want feedback, you can visit our question forum WP:Teahouse. I'll point out some points of improvements for your proposed insert.

First, many statements lack in-line citation. While it is not strictly required(unless the statement in question is contentious or is a quote), it is always a good practice to include one to help readers and editors verify content. You should also fix the errors the reference templates are giving you. One reason for the errors is that wrong date formats are being used. See Template:Cite_web#Date for guidance. Also, external links should not go on the body of the article; it should be moved to an seperate "external links" section or be turned into a reference. You can indicate that an publication is hosted on newspapers.com through the use of "via" parameter. See Template:Cite_web#Publisher. Feel free to post on the Teahouse or send a message on my talk page if you have any more questions! Ca talk to me! 14:19, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

CA,
thanks for the speedy reply. Exactly what I was looking forward to. I will study the suggestions and try to bring in my proposed addition up to Wiki standards. Applecrabby (talk) 15:08, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
