Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. RE: Deletion of Apaleja

Hello there, I stumbled upon your question on one of my peer's talk pages here. I figured I'd weigh in and explain, because I'm sure you'd like an answer.

On Wikipedia, a page's eligibility for having an article is affected by the subject's notability. While I'm sure the subject of your article is groundbreaking, unique and exciting, one has to remember that there are a lot of groundbreaking, unique and exciting things happening every day. The way we develop Wikipedia articles is through citing third-party reliable sources that are unbiased to the subject matter.

So, for example, a press release by Company A does not make the company notable. But, on the other hand, if said company has 4 or 5 substantial mentions in local or international media - in a newspaper, on a notable website, etc. - then an article can be put forward.

Now, that's not to say the only issue is notability. Your article must also be written from a neutral point-of-view, must offer knowledge, not advertising, and it must be well-referenced. However, if you believe you've got all the things necessary, please feel free to drop me a note on my talk page or e-mail me and we can go from there!

Thanks for the response!

While that's quite the list of sources, it also helps if they're in the encyclopedia's native tongue - in this case, English - and if they're more than blog posts. You might find tools like Google News to be useful; I can't turn up much for 48GoGreen, but if you take a look around and find some reliable sources there, that would be great!
