Speedy deletion nomination of Allegiance American Enterprises, LLC
[edit]A tag has been placed on Allegiance American Enterprises, LLC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 07:04, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Pete Morelli
[edit]Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Pete Morelli. Thank you. Zzyzx11 (talk) 05:58, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons clearly states, "the burden of evidence for any edit on Wikipedia rests with the person who adds or restores material." Regards. Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:23, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- The so-called "Nazi" Biographies of Living Persons policy is in place is because of news stories like these.[1][2][3][4] See also the Wikipedia biography controversy article. Also, because I edit Wikipedia as a volunteer, instead of a paid position, I myself am in no obligation to research, or take the time or the energy to write about, a subject I may have no knowledge about. That is one reason why it says, "the burden of evidence for any edit on Wikipedia rests with the person who adds or restores material" Regards. Zzyzx11 (talk) 07:27, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- On the other hand, I will give you this advice: If you want to know how to cite references in articles, the basic method is listed on Wikipedia:Embedded citations. For example, of you enter this:
In 2009 scientists reached one trillion electron volts. [http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8385891.stm]
it would appear as the following, in the article, after the edit was saved:
- In 2009 scientists reached one trillion electron volts.[5]
Good luck. Zzyzx11 (talk) 07:52, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
