Hello, Antonioyap, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Frank Massar, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Frank masser. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 12:44, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Frank Massar with Dr Park.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Frank Massar with Dr Park.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Blurred Lines 23:37, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Frank Massar

[edit]

Hi! The article on Frank Massar declares that he is a 9th Dan in Taekwondo. There is no reliable independent source for this declaration. His article has enough references to establish his notability but not enough to establish him as a Master. If you could find an independent reference for his 9th Dan (Black Belt Magazine, etc.), that would help his article and allow an entry into the Master article. jmcw (talk) 15:20, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sirs, I note that you mention Master. A Master and a Grandmaster are quite different. Frank Massar was 7th Dan Master in 1997 (check TKD magazine Jan 1998). Please look at the latest Martial arts illustrated (UK publication)magazine Nov/Dec 2013 where there is the mention of GM Frank as Grandmaster. GM Frank has been in the scene for 46 years. GM Frank will be inducted in the Hall of Fame on 17th November 2013 for the 7th time. 85.210.37.115 (talk) 19:08, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please look at references. I hope its good enough for you Antonioyap (talk) 21:37, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please state which months in which this article occurs: November or December. And please add the page number. Consider using the citation template. Thanks! jmcw (talk) 23:48, 19 November 2013 (UTC). Will add soon Antonioyap (talk) 22:03, 20 November 2013 (UTC) pages added. i hope it satisfy your queriesAntonioyap (talk) 17:05, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! In the Frank Massar article it says 'he holds several national and international competition titles' but none are mentioned in the article. Some references would help the overall quality of the references. jmcw (talk) 20:45, 20 November 2013 (UTC). Look at photo - Frank massar presented Grand champion trophy by late Dr Park for USA open. Frank Massar won that twice. If you look in gallery of Massar website you will see evidence of more title wins Antonioyap (talk) 22:03, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
