Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.XinJeisan (talk) 21:38, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
I'd just have a few favors to ask:
1) from now on when you edit wikipeida, leave a message on wikipedia, etc., log on with your account.
2) if you know of any articles or reliable sources that might help any of the pages we have discussed, whether new or old, please post that information to the talk pages, and,
3) remember to assume good faith in the future.
Wikipedia is very big, so, if you are interested/have some knowledge of other topics besides Siobhan Fahey, you should look around and help on other aspects of the project. You might find it enjoyable.
Thanks XinJeisan (talk) 08:05, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Glamouranddamagecover.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Glamouranddamagecover.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:05, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Antmarkhemingway. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Glamour and Damage (album), you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. — CactusWriter (talk) 16:10, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
