Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Maya Karimata, by Fordmadoxfraud, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Maya Karimata fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

no assertion of notability

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Maya Karimata, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Maya Karimata itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 22:49, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have had several messages telling me to delete this article. I don' t know why, but please delete it. I don't know how to do this myself, but I removed the text from the page. Antipoeten (talk) 01:32, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Norwegian geography

[edit]

Hi Antipoeten - good to see a few new articles on Norwegian geography appearing. Could I ask that you mark any as small as the ones you've been making with a stub template in future (like I've done here), just to let other editors interested Norwegian geography know there are articles which could do with expansion. Thanks - Grutness...wha? 03:21, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The same thing applies with other countries. Almost every country has its own geo-stub template - like {{PapuaNewGuinea-geo-stub}} and {{Myanmar-geo-stub}} for the likes of Kiwai Island and Kadetkyi Island. Grutness...wha? 13:01, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the new articles, but please put the appropriate country geo-stubs and put a wikilink to the country that contains them. I've had to clean up a couple of articles by you, and it appears you are still not putting the stubs in articles you created after you have been asked above. Hu 20:20, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TAAF (French Southern and Antarctic Lands)

[edit]

I was not sure which geo-stub to use on (for example) islands belonging to TAAF (French Southern and Antarctic Lands). Antipoeten 00:35, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When in doubt, just use {{geo-stub}} and somebody will notice and refine it later. Hu 10:00, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indonesian islands

[edit]

Please take care - removing the items from North Pagai was not appropriate - please look at other tems in the Indonesian project before removing material, thanks SatuSuro 23:59, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry, I thought this information was wrongly posted. I still think that more technical information about surfing should be posted elsewhere. But this is just my opinion.Antipoeten 00:04, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Synonymous articles

[edit]

Please be cautious not to create two articles about the same thing. For example, you created Obi Island, Java Sea, which it identifies as the same as Obira. The article should redirect to the other article. If you think the article name is inappropriate, the way to do that is with a requested move. It is not helpful to have two articles about the same topic, however. I have redirected the article and incorporated the new information into the old article. Lingga Island

[edit]

On 26 August 2007, you modified the entry for Lingga Island on the Lingga disambiguation page, by adding Indonesia within the brackets.

(1) This was not necessary within the brackets because there is only one Lingga Island;
(2) This was not necessary outside the brackets because Lingga Island was listed under Indonesia;
(3) This edit deflected the link away from the existing article on Lingga Island, and made it redink.
Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.

The following page may be of interest. One of the things we have been trying to do is to grade the sizes of various Scottish islands. Any comments, or contributions welcome.

Hello. Please cite sources for this article. Otherwise, it may be tagged as a candidate for deletion in the near future. If you are in the process of adding sources now, please continue to do so and ignore this message. Cheers. ++Arx Fortis (talk) 00:48, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added several sources to this article. Note also the articles in German and Lithuanian.Antipoeten (talk) 01:30, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Dzharylgach

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dzharylgach requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I think there should be a Wiki page about this island, which is the largest in the Black Sea. However it is a long time since I made articles and I may have to be "re-educated" to make articles.Antipoeten (talk) 02:48, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Ivan Călin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Plopi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
